My skin loves THIS foundation
I have never in my life (65 yrs) worn full face foundation of any kind. This stuff is just what I have been looking for. I apply lightly with a brush all over my face. It has not caused any breakouts, rash or dryness. My face just looks better…brighter but not shiney, it blurs wrinkles a little bit (I’m 65 so it can only do so much), just an allover softer appearance. So easy to use and effective. Wish I would have found this year’s ago.

very nice foundation
I decided to try this since it is advertised so much. I really like it. It goes on so nicely and covers just right. It never looks like I am wearing foundation but I look more even in my complexation, covering dark spots nicely. I like how it feels and it wears all day although I always use primer so that might help, also. The one thing to be careful, it does darken, at least mine does. So maybe order a shade lighter if that happens to you as it does to me. Overall, I really like this foundation for how it looks and wears.

Good product, wrong color
It covers flawlessly and is pretty lightweight. Only one star off because I bought it in light and it is a little too dark and warm.

Great Stuff! Especially for more mature skin.
In my mid 50âs now and this is the perfect makeup for me. Super light, extremely flattering. Just a few swipes with a big soft brush and it gives such a nice soft coverage of redness, spots, unevenness. Also gives me a slight glow, skin just looks healthier with it on. Zero negative reaction on my skin. It feels like Iâm not wearing anything at all. Sometimes (quite often actually) , Iâll use a bit of moisturizer, a light dusting of this powder and a bit of mascara and Iâm good to go. Itâs won me over.

Laura Geller Correcting Powder Foundation
I thought this would be a game changer for me. It wasn’t! I was so disappointed! Maybe I bought the wrong shade? It looked horrible on me and made me look so pale. It showed every crease/fine line I had on my face!It did go in easy, and seamed to spread over my face easy enough. But the final finish was awful.ðI didn’t want to return it, as it was used. But it sure was an expensive Trial product.ðThe reviews were great and even the photos I saw were encouraging, too. But, it did not work that way for me. I purchased it to cover up some of the lines on my face, not to make them more visible! I will not order this again.Like I said, maybe if I had gotten a darker shade, maybe? But I feel it is too expensive to keep trying until I find the right shade. I bought a name color/shade darker than what I buy in liquid foindation. This was much, much lighter.Good luck! I hope you have better luck with it. ð

WOW. JUST WOW. 4.5 out of 5; minus a little for no color/shade samples
I’m almost 60/F, some wrinkles and a fair amount of discoloration, red spots, and sun damage, esp. on cheeks. This foundation (baked balance and brighten, color FAIR) is really easy to use. Feels like nothing, even when building. I used only basic, soft, fluffy brushes I had on hand; they worked well for light coverage, but I do think a denser brush option – like a retracting kabuki, as recommended – might work better for building.Very good coverage on bare skin (moisturizar only), pracrically perfect over an inexpensive primer. Almost all my flaws disappeared, even without concealer.Did not settle in wrinkles, either. I FEEL PRET-TY, OH-SO PRET-TY!…or, at least, “not bad for an old broad, not at all!”.I do find that using primer is better over large pores and significant discoloration, such as have I. I used a budget brand with spf 30 and the foundation went on perfectly. It’s FAST, too. The longest part if the process is waiting for the primer to dry, maybe 1-3 minutes.Found it difficult to shade match – but to be fair: When is it *not* difficult?Would be a very nice thing if Laura Geller Beauty offered an inexpensive “sampler” (say, $5.00 for just enough product for 1/2 face in two adjacent shades) to help in this process.I tried “PORCELAIN” first, but it was just a tad too light. The model wearing “FAIR” looks like an olive tone to me, whereas (I think?) I’m more peachy, like the “LIGHT” model – but I’m super pale…but … but.. hem ..haw..Seems really wasteful to open, use once and return a full product to try a color that isn’t quite right, as I have. “Samplers” would really help reduce the volume of product returns, not to mention reduce waste and carbon footprints – just sayin’.Step up,ðLaura Geller. Make the planet as beautiful as you have me!

Pricey but worth it!
The first powder I received had been opened and used, so I returned it for a full refund (easy and quick process). I reordered and was extremely pleased with my purchase. Laura Geller makeup is a bit pricey but well worth it. I was blessed with a complexion that didn’t require makeup, so I reached my 60’s and had never used any type of makeup! Seriously, I didn’t have a clue what to buy, how to apply, if it was layered (?) etc. I started showing signs of rosacea after turning 60, and didn’t know what to do, or how to hide it. For the first time I began purchasing different brands of makeup (Bare Minerals, IT to name a few). All of them looked terrible on me! I’m sure not knowing how to properly apply makeup didn’t help. Anyway, I finally gave up, and went back to a “bare naked” face, which was red and blotchy. Very unattractive, but I didn’t know what else to do. Recently, I wanted to get my daughter something special and asked her what she would like. She said she had been seeing ads for Laura Geller makeup and would like to try that. She just turned 50 and wanted a change from her current makeup routine. She chose several Laura Geller products and I had them shipped to her. She loved them!!! She said she had several compliments from co-workers etc. Having seen the ads myself, I knew that Laura Geller makeup was supposed to be easy to apply and “color correcting”, so I decided to order for myself. I’m so pleased that I did. The “color correcting” foundation is truly amazing! I purchased the retractable Kabuki airbrush with it and it made the application quick, easy and perfect!! In just a couple of minutes I was able to cover my blotchy skin. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Laura Geller makeup to anyone over 50 . The benefits of color correcting makeup can’t be overstated.

I am really pleased with this. Having very pale skin, I have always struggled to find a foundation that suits me and doesnât make me look yellow or even orange. This looks like my skin, but my skin at its absolute best. It is a powder with a creamy texture, and itâs easy to apply with a brush, giving a professional finish. With a basic application, it makes me look rested and healthy, and it doesnât settle into any lines. I can build it up to cover any redness, but there is a limit, so if Iâm heavy-handed and use too much, it can look slightly cakey. It lasts all day, too, which is a bonus. The only issue for me is that itâs slightly on the expensive side, but not enough to cost it a star.

My first purchase of Laura Geller Baked Foundation. This is ideal for an older skin and so simple to apply. Does not settle in my heavy set facial wrinkles which says it all. How long it lasts compared to liquid foundation I have no idea but looks promising. Fast application with a touch of baked blusher and ready for the day.
