Great Scale!
This scale is accurate and easy to use. The display lights up and easy to read. I keep a small glass container on it that I put my food into to weigh. All you have to do is tare it and it will just weigh the food without the container.I like the fact that you can charge it or use batteries.

What Is “NASA-Grade”? Used By NASA On Space Missions To Weigh In ZERO GRAVITY? Good Scale On Earth.
Purchased on 03-09-2024 for $19.19. ($23.99 – $4.80/Lightning Deal)Okay, what in the world does ‘NASA-Grade’ mean? Is the manufacturer suggesting that this has passed some stringent quality standard that NASA mandates, and the scale is being used by NASA? So NASA buys scales from Amazon and uses them to weigh highly critical components for their space missions? Or, is it just hyperbolic puffery by the manufacturer?To be perfectly clear, I’m talking about the U.S. government agency, NASA, that is the acronym of ‘National Aeronautics and Space Administration.’ Not the National Association of Scales and Abacuses!Now that that’s out of the way…Out of the box, I checked the scale against a set of calibration weights (QP 1000 Gram 8-piece Calibration Set) that I purchased on Amazon.It’s accurate.- 500 gram weight = 500 grams- 200 gram weight = 200 grams- 100 gram weight = 100 grams- 100 gram weight = 100 grams- 50 gram weight = 50 grams- 20 gram weight = 20 grams- 20 gram weight = 20 grams- 10 gram weight = 10 grams- 1,000 gram combined weight = 1,000 gramsSo, the scale appears to be dead on AS LONG AS the item being weighed is positioned on the center of the plate. If it’s off to the side or corner, the reading may vary by a gram. (The manufacturer doesn’t specify what the margin of error is. I’ll assume it’s at least +/- 0.5 gram.)There are times when the reading ‘dances’ between numbers for +/- 3 seconds before settling on a specific weight.Here on earth, this works well for kitchen and general use. And I can recommend it if the 33 pound limit is sufficient for you.The tare weight feature is convenient and useful, too. I use it to weigh my dogs placed in a colander.For the Artemis program or ISS missions, I hope NASA isn’t using scales purchased from Amazon.

Good Clear Large Scale
The box contained 1 Trudin digital food scale, a USB C type charging cable, instructions and 2 AAA batteries. I like the scale has an internal battery you can charge which is what I use. The digital readout is large and clear and measures ml, g, lbs, and fl’oz. You can zero the weight when you have an empty bowl on it. I liked when it is charging there is a red light, and the light clears when charged. The scale seems sturdy. I think the scale goes up to a max weight around 30 lbs., which is how much the apples weighed that we just put up. I am satisfied with this purchase.

I had to replace a scale similar to this one that I have had for over 30 years. This is a more modern version. Sleek, easy to use, is for both kilos/grams and pounds/ounces. I store it in the original box as I did with the old one. It is very sensitive to weight so that it is totally accurate. No need to guess. Would highly recommend this product.
