    Decent
This is a great phone for those interested in digital minimalism. I am in the US and I use a Tello sim card ($10/month unlimited text and talk). The phone works as you would expect an old Nokia to work. It took a few minutes and a couple restarts to get everything to load. I was becoming worried that the contacts function was never going to work but it did eventually come to life. If it is not preforming as desired, just reset it. That seems to fix most issues. It connected to my bluetooth v5.0 headset with no issues and no troubleshooting. Overall I would recommend this to anyone that wants to cut back on screen time and doom scrolling.

I Didn’t Choose the Dumbphone Life; the Dumbphone Life Chose Me
I’ve been an avid dumbphone user for a very long time and this is by far the worst dumbphone I’ve ever had. After three years, my phone was starting to reach the end of its life so I got this. The price is good, but the phone is not. I want a phone that can text and call. That’s it. This phone comes with about a bunch of apps that I’ll never use, and the worst part is that YOU CAN’T UNINSTALL THEM. I don’t want Facebook on my phone. It comes with FOUR different games, again, that cannot be uninstalled. Oh, and it comes with a dictionary app that literally nobody asked for. You can’t download pictures to save as wallpapers so you’ve got to either stick with the pre-loaded wallpaper or use the camera which takes pictures that are only marginally better than the pictures my toaster takes. But, hey, that’ll make me feel young again.I can’t figure out how to make the notification icons up top go away. It’s annoying to have to unlock by pressing the star button every time. I haven’t found a way to adjust the font size. There’s no buttons on the side so you have to go in to the settings and manually turn the volume down. Getting this phone to work is by no means intuitive. In fact, my husband and I (we’re both avid dumbphone users) are both having to research how to use this phone. It’s not like we’re elderly either. He’s 29 and I’m 27.We’ve talked about getting rid of our cell phones and just using a landline. It’s looking like we might just do that soon since you can’t find a dumbphone anymore.EDIT 12/15/2023This phone is the absolute WORST. My husband and I have both had problems making and receiving calls (he has this phone too). Not only that, but the time stamps on my texts are all goofed up. If I send someone a text at 9:05 their response will come in with a time stamp that’s an hour earlier which goofs up the order of the conversations and makes it difficult to follow. After months of this, I can’t take it anymore. I’m getting a new phone. My last dumbphone lasted two years. This one has barely made it six months if that.DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE.

    Good phone for tech-savvy person
I recently purchased this phone for an elderly individual who isn’t particularly tech-savvy, and I must say, it’s been a fantastic choice. Not only does she find the phone appealing, but its simplicity makes it incredibly easy for her to navigate and operate without any frustration. One standout feature is the remarkable battery life; it lasts for days on end without needing frequent charging, providing her with uninterrupted communication and peace of mind. Additionally, the call quality and sound clarity are impressive, ensuring that every conversation is crystal clear and enjoyable. Overall, this phone has exceeded our expectations, providing a user-friendly experience coupled with reliable performance, making it the perfect companion for anyone seeking a hassle-free, simple communication device.

Decent first phone for a kid, not a great option for senior citizens
I wanted a very basic phone for my 3rd grader so that he could reach me easily but don’t want him to have access to the internet (especially social media) yet. I didn’t realize how difficult it would be to find a relatively cheap phone that would function purely as a call/text phone. I settled for this Nokia because 1)internet/apps access would at least be difficult, 2)Nokia’s are generally known for being sturdy, 3)it’s price was decent, and 4)it looked nice.1) internet/app access- unfortunately, a version of the Facebook app comes preloaded on the phone for some reason, as does the internet app. What’s worse is that you can’t delete these apps. For the time being, I’ve been able to circumvent the problem by turning wifi and data off on the app. I have also enrolled him in a more restricted phone service contract. I’m sure, as he gets older, he’ll figure out how to turn on the wifi though. We’ve already had a discussion about why I don’t want him on social media yet and I’m sure we’ll have the discussion more in the future. Also, I wish there was a way to limit incoming calls. He gets so many spam calls and I’ve seen that more upscale phones can block all incoming calls from unknown numbers- I wish this phone had that capability.2) sturdiness- not quite as sturdy as the old school Nokia’s but not bad. My son has dropped it repeatedly and, in the event the screen has frozen or stopped responding, a hard reset (my removing the battery) has always gotten it working again. It is made of plastic though so I’m sure it can easily get scratched. I bought a screen protector and that has worked so far for the front. Battery life lasts several days despite using the phone (calls and games) for about an hour or two a day. We charge it about once or twice a week and it stays on.3)Price- this is about as cheap as you can get and still get a well-known brand. I saw a few off brand phones but noticed in the comments people repeatedly complaining that they didn’t work in the US. This phone uses a 4G or 5G network which is what most areas require so it works fine. That being said, it’s still a cheap phone. If there is any sound around my son when he calls it’s difficult for him to hear me or me to hear him. It’s also frustrating that there’s no easy access volume controls, you have to go through the settings to adjust speaker, ring tone, or app volume.4) the way it looks- the color is a nice saphire blue, my son loves it. The colors on the phone screen are ok- it’s a basic pixel kind of phone but I expected that. I do with there were buttons for the volume as well as a button to turn the light/flash on/off. Without those, I don’t think it’s as functional as it could be. It comes preloaded with some basic old school games- another thing my son loves.Overall, it’s a pretty good first phone for a kid. I don’t think it has the basic functionality features a some senior citizens look for though.

Simple, dumb phone with some smart features that are to clunky to be bothered with. Perfect for minimizing smart phone usage and detoxing from social media.
