Customers say
Customers like the health benefits, quality and softness of the animal nutritional supplement. For example, they mention it helps the overall health of their skin and coat, and it’s a very good product. Some like the coat, effect on skin, and dandruff. That said, opinions are mixed on taste and smell.

Helped us immensely!
After lots of research, I decided to order this fish oil for our 11-year-old cat. He tends to over groom and sometimes has little âbaldâ patches above his eyes and occasionally when the air is dry, his heels will crack and bleed. Yes, we talked about it with our vet extensively and yes, weâve tried all the stress-reducing strategies.A few weeks after starting this oil, his fur looked shiny and fuller. He also had not lost any additional hair in the commonly groomed spots, and he didnât have any hair missing on his face.He didnât love the smell of the oil at first, but now he eats it with his food with no problem. I donât love the smell, but itâs fish oil, so yeah itâs going to smell like fish! We didnât have any issues with leakage. This is a quality, easily used product that will give you results if you want your fur baby to have healthier skin and fur. We will be ordering again and again!

19 year old Persian cat loved this! It was very beneficial to her overall health!
My cat loved this product. She is a 19 year old Persian. The fishy smell was completely removed, so that was good. This was very beneficial to her overall health and wellness, and appeared to make her feel better and more agile, and alert.

Worked great for flakey and scabby skin!
Our cat has always had flakey skin and when we brushed her thick fur, a lot of it would come off on the brush. This winter we noticed a bald spot on her back and scabby skin all over her, but mostly on her back down by her tail. (She doesn’t have fleas) I looked for a solution online and found omega fish oil would help. I chose the Nordic Naturals Omega 3 Cat and after giving it to her for about a week we saw some improvement. It has been 2 weeks now and wow!!! Her scabs are gone and her bald spot is filling in. She doesn’t shed hardly any hair now either! The oil comes with a dropper with measurement lines, the instructions are easy. Dosage goes by weight of the cat. She seems to like the taste. I gave some to one of my other cats that also has flakey skin but I don’t think she likes it… but she doesn’t like soft fishy cat food either. I will be ordering this again!

Love this stuff
Love this stuff for my cat. Been using it for about 2 years now and it takes me about 9ish months to go through a full bottle. I use between 0.5 mL or a full dropper full of the oil in my catâs breakfast and dinner every day. I keep it in a mini fridge in my bathroom for longevity. The first bottle I had, I had to end up throwing it away much earlier than expected since I never refrigerated it. Keeping it refrigerated definitely insures and lengthens its lifespan. Her coat is silky smooth and soft. I stopped using it for about a week because I became too lazy to go to the bathroom and get the oil, but her coat is still soft, silky, and lustrous. It smells like fish oil, but I guess the flavor is mild because she has no problem with it on her food. If I use a fish oil that smells too fishy or tastes too much like fish she will not eat her food. So Iâm glad they offer an âunflavoredâ version that makes it palatable for Poppy Seed.

REFRIGERATE
Cat loved it. BUT I overlooked the last line of description which said to refrigerate product. I suggest that line be in bold print so that other purchasers don’t make the same mistake.

Trusty brand for you DHA EPA needs.
Wish my cat would take it with her foods. Guess I will be the one consuming it. Product is fine and dandy, it was my cat being all too picky.

What they needed
The cat is iffy with it but that may be a temperature thing since I stick mine in the refrigerator (as it says on the bottle). I don’t give them a lot (maybe 3-4 drops every other day as a kitten). Otherwise the dropper is definitely a necessity. I have seen some improvement to his skin and it did help in the dry winter. Packaging and shipping were all fine.
