Gets all the juice out
This is a bit messier than the metal press extractors, and you risk getting the pith in the juice if you’re too aggressive with it, but it’s very thorough in extracting all the juice, and is very easy to clean.

Great tool, but remember: itâs RAW WOOD and needs to be oiled before use. I use WALRUS OIL – Cutting Board Oil ( available on Amazon ).Also remember: like any other wood product, soaking or machine washing will kill it.In the photo, seasoning is half done.Working end is oiled. Handle is raw.Note the color shift of the wood between the working end and the unfinished handle.Blue thing is a sterile artists paint brush that was used to apply the oil.

Glad to have this to replace my old one
I had one just like this which I bought in a store. A few weeks ago, a mouse got into my utensil drawer and chewed it. I threw it out. I was glad to find this same item on Amazon and ordered it right away. I bought the first one because I liked the way it felt in my hand, and I did a lot of cooking with it. I’m liking this replacement just the same.

I’m very pleased with this wooden spoon. It’s larger than I thought it would be for the price. It’s perfect for my raw honey , sturdy enough to dig it out . It’s very sturdy and made well.
