Powerful fan!
This fan is great! Itâs incredibly powerful and really helps keep my room cool and the air circulating well!It is really loud; however, that is exactly what I bought it for. My dog is really sensitive to noises outside of my bedroom, so I needed something loud enough to drown out the sound of my roommates moving about the house. This has been perfect for doing that so far. Additionally, I like white noise at night so I like that the fan is loud enough to act as that. The fan is also lightweight and was very easy to put together. I havenât hung it on the wall, but that does seem like itâd be easy to do as well.

Totally worth the price
When I ordered this, I was a little grumpy that the price was so much. The last box fan I bought at Walmart was a little over $20 I think. Then again, that could have been 10 years ago. Lol This fan is designed to look pretty slick. I like that it’s black, and while it is a little loud (which, let’s be honest, most fans are), The strength of this fan is incredible. I live in a 2-bedroom apartment where there is a large in-wall unit air conditioner in the living room. My bedroom however, is down a long hallway and is the last bedroom at the end of the hallway from the living room. To add to that, my bedroom has two very large windows in it. So I already don’t have great insulation and it’s cold in there in the winter, and hot in the summer. Last year I had bought a different fan off of Amazon that was a round metal fan that sat on the floor. That thing’s even stronger than this box fan, and incredibly noisy, but I always keep it at the beginning of the hallway in the living room pointing down the hallway. I had an old Walmart fan that I had pointing into my bedroom from the hallway, but honestly this year and possibly last it didn’t feel like the fan was blowing anything anywhere. Even on high. Yes, I could have tried cleaning the fan. I paid $20 for the fan, and that would have entailed using tools to get to the fan to clean it. And quite frankly I was just too lazy to do it.So I opted to order this one. And I have absolutely no regrets. I’m actually laying in bed right now (recovering from surgery), And the fan pointing into the bedroom from the hallway is so strong that I’m actually chilly. I just put a blanket on. Considering that before I had this fan I used a small battery operated table fan pointed on me because I was still warm even with the fan in the doorway,

Review after owning a few days. I like it.
Edit: I forgot to mention that the power cord is short on this fan. It measures about 5ft but I think 7ft or 8ft would have been more appropriate. I have ordered a 3ft black single outlet extension cord to give it a more seamless look with the original power cord and more length to allow me to move the fan around. From a noise sensitive person: this is a quiet fan, even on the highest setting. It is exactly what I was hoping it to be. It’s audible but it’s a low-pitch, whirring sound produced by the blades moving air. It doesn’t have a lot of vibration and has no clicking sounds on oscillation. If you want a significant amount of background noise to drown out other sounds, this might not be the fan for you. Comparing it to a couple of smaller portable usb fans that I have, this Pelonis fan is like a chill, relaxed dude – quieter and has a more pleasing sound whereas the other fans have kind of a metallic-y high-pitched crazy-business sound. This fan is not going to blow you away on the highest setting, but it’s perfect for me because most of the time I actually find that annoying. It moves a good amount of air around; it’s just not a turbo air blaster. If you live in a warmer climate than I do, you might need more. Right now it is hotter than usual summer temps in the high 90 -100 F and this fan is perfect for my already fairly cool basement apartment. You will likely have to assemble the fan yourself like others have mentioned in the reviews, unless that changes for some reason. It was fairly easy to follow the instructions and no tools were needed. Having to put it together yourself is kind of a drawback, but at least I know how the fan went together now and I can take it apart easily if I want to. It looks like it should be simple to clean with the front grill assembly just snapping apart at the bottom. While doing my comparison shopping, the retro metal table top fans looked prettier to me and I was willing to pay more money for that and for high quality hardware but after reading a ton of reviews, there were enough speaking to noise issues that I decided on this one instead. This fan is made of plastic but it has a clean and basic design that I like enough. I was surprised when putting the fan together that the base is mostly hollow/concave without a flat bottom all across. It does make it lighter in weight and I guess easier to move around, probably less expensive to make from a manufacturing perspective but I think a heavier base would make it more sturdy. However, it’s not really flimsy and I don’t think its going to fall over unless it gets knocked over. The other thing that I didn’t prefer is that the fan was shipped in the product box with a picture and description of what it is for everyone to see. There should at least be an option for discreet packaging. Even though it’s only a fan, I don’t need people knowing what I ordered and there isn’t really much packaging to prevent the fan from being damaged in transit. This is a review from someone who has only owned the fan for a few days so I cannot speak to the longevity and durability of it. Overall a good fan for the price ($30) and I am about to purchase another one so I can have one in each room.

It does the job
My son wanted this for out in the garage. Itâs lightweight and it cools really good and it doesnât vibrate like a lot of fans do. It does make some noise but not too bad but itâll keep him from having a heat stroke lolAnd it has a special screen over it so if you have cats who canât keep their paws out of things, they canât get hurt and thatâs a big plus with us. Happy with this fan and itâs worth the $40 in my opinion.

What I like is having a box fan again. This moves the air fabulously. Noise – yup it’s noisy but blades moving air is noisy. Would have loved a strap/handle on top to make it easier to move about. There is kind of a spot in the back corner but it is poorly placed for this job.Super grateful to have it with the heat.

It works and at low setting I find it fine for noise level while sleeping (white noise). Just be aware the first click after turning it on is HIGH. Low is the last click. Why 4 stars. Doesn’t move a lot of air at high. On low, moves enough to cool the room with it in the open window. What I wanted.Medium, twice as noisy, 10% more air. High, twice as noisy again, 10% more air. Just not useful. For for the price, it’s just an ‘ok’ product for the money, 3 stars.****But I give it +1 star because the feet can turn into the box leaving a flat surface to press directly onto a window screen. That’s nice design!I still miss my Canada Turbo Fan, before it got built cheap and became not a good buy (then brought by seabreeze and discontinued)
