Our 1 year old cat was a feral kitten and still has a few of those tendencies. I give him a few of these and he calms down!

It works, but use caution
My cats loved these treats and ate them right up. It also seemed to calm them down too, so the product definitely works – so Iâm giving them four stars for that alone. I got them for the 4th of July but sadly didnât even get to use them for that day. One of my cats had a terrible allergic reaction to one or some of the ingredients (this was the only new thing introduced into their diet/environment) in the treats. She started sneezing terribly over the course of a few days and by the third day her poor nose had become so swollen and drippy. Her eyes were weeping, she was sneezing like crazy and shaking her head/itching her ears. After being off the treats for two days all of her symptoms went away and Iâm happy to report she is back to her normal, happy self. Iâd say use caution with these treats and introduce them slowly to your pets. Keep an eye on them and discontinue use immediately if your pet shows any signs of allergic reactions. If your pets are having trouble breathing take them to the emergency vet asap. I was lucky that my catâs reaction was mild and not a full blown anaphylactic shock.

Catâs refuse to eat them after initial bag
These are bite-sized crunchy treats that smell like chicken. My cats ate 3/4 of the first bag I bought. I couldnât tell if it calmed one cat much, but the other was more calm around our rambunctious foster dog. Too calm; almost lethargic.Maggieâs 11-12 lbs and I gave her 5-10 treats at a time. She stopped eating the first bag quickly. I donât think she liked the sedation. Our cat, Louie, stopped about 2/3 through the bag.I failed to unsubscribe in time and tried giving them again. This bag has the same chicken smell and crunchy texture, but neither cat will touch them at all. I tried to return online, but it says nonreturnable??? Iâm calling customer service today to request the refund. Prime members pay for this service. I expect a refund on items in the return window that do not do meet satisfaction.

Letâs our kitten sleep deeper and longer
Flavor is accepted but not her first choice. Sometimes hard to get her to eat them. But once she has 5 she gets noticeably drowsy in 15 minutes or so and sleeps long and deeply. We need that to reduce her separation anxiety when time to go to bed. WELL worth the cost for the effectiveness.

The 4th of July is coming up and fireworks are a big source of stress for my cats. I bought these treats and âtestedâ them ahead of time.My calico loves them. My tiger cat wonât touch them.Cats are cats. You never know what they are going to do and these âcalmingâ treats are perfect example.I gave 8 treats to my 10 pound calico and tried toclip her claws 2 hours later. It was an angry, hissing event. I got the front claws done and let her go because I thought I was going to get maimed.I read the reviews and some folks think the one treat per pound is marketing BS. But test on your own to be sure. 8 treats for a 10 pound cat was totally ineffective for my nail clipping adventure and they did nothing for fear of fireworks.I have other RX options for the non-compliant kitty from the vet but I donât like drugging my cats. But I may be forced to go that way.The next page on this review asks me to rate âtasteâ. HTF do I know what they taste like? I didnât knock a few of these treats down with a beer! Based on one cat not touching these treats, Iâd say the taste rating is 50/50.From my experience, none of these ânaturalâ or âhomeopathicâ treats or treatments for cats work.Iâve tried the sprays and these treats. All this stuff seems like a cat company cash grab.Bottom line is that these treats are a real dice game. You donât know what will happen until you buy and try. Depends on your cat
I bought this for my oldest cat who is always threatened by other cats in the house (she’s jealous). Unfortunately she would throw up after eating them. This also happened with another of my cats who is always anxious. However, another cat I recently rescued, who is very rowdy and somewhat aggressive, loves them and it does seem to help him be a bit calmer, so I guess it’s more of one of those “try it and see” things, like most products for cats.
