INCREDIBLE PRODUCT!! People have it wrong about the dosage.
My VERY, VERY picky cat loves these treats for hairballs. I have been battling lack of appetite, vomiting, weight loss for 3 years. Every test in the book along with raw, homemade, every canned, dry food on the market also prednsione and holistic procedures. Nothing worked. Finally settled on a pureed diet like Weruva along with added puree treats that I feed on my finger. Very small meals throughout a long day. Each treat has a healthy combination of ingredients such as Vitality Kitty Up – here on Amazon. Still had hairballs. Hairballs and vomiting stopped as soon as I began Pet Honesty Hairball Support. She loves them so much that when I rattle the bag she comes running and meowing and continues to look to see if there are more on her plate. She has never acted like this for any food or treat item before. So the two most important criteria are met – SHE LOVES THEM AND THEY WORK. Now for the complaints of some people under the two or three star people. This is typical of these reviews My cat likes these but the dosage of 1 chew per pound mean a 30 chew package would last 3 days. Will find a product with a more reasonable dosage. No company could stay in business by selling a bag that lasts 3 days. There are NOT 30 chews in a bag. Once you look in the bag and see the small size, read on the front that it is a 30 day supply, and count them , you realize there are enough for a month . There are 300 in a bag. It is not a “meal” as some say – they are tiny. Look on line – the average, healthy cat weighs 10 lbs. My cat is 10 lbs and at 10 a day divided into am and pm offerings there are enough for a month. Even if she were heavier I would buy 2 packages a month for the blessing of having her LOVE them and ACTUALLY WORKING. Someone also voiced concern about the orange pulp in this product saying it was poisonous. The leaves and outer peel are bad for cats but not the inner pulp. I feel blessed to have found this product. I know it won’t work for every single cat but I think the vast majority will be very happy with these hairball treats.

Final Review! June 4th – both of my cats take this probiotic every day. My girl with CKD has an easier time in the litter box going #2. Although, she is on a wet food diet exclusively now so I’m sure that helped. My girl also vomited a bit since we started this probiotic. I am chalking the vomiting up to nausea that comes with CKD. Both of my cat’s coats are nice and glossy. My cats eyes are shiny and vibrant. My cat’s dry skin from midwestern winters is no more. No dry skin itching. My cats have a good appetite and they stay active so they burn off the calories fast. My CKD girl struggles with her appetite (part of the illness) but this probiotic makes it possible to get her food down. Good product! I mix this with wet food and sometimes sprinkle it on top of kibble.So far it seems this product works fine for my 2 cats. I have a cat with CKD. She constantly vomits right after eating (1-3x every other day) and she strains to go #2 in the litter box. It has been a battle to find out why she can’t keep food down or pass it. The vet says it’s stuck hairballs that can cause all this based on an x-ray. I think that CKD also that causes cats to feel nauseous or have toxin build up in their bodies preventing them from eating properly. CKD causes massive dehydration and that’s what her #2 seemed like. I was researching which fiber I should try giving her to ease her system. I learned that probiotics would be a better route than just pumpkins. I stumbled on this product.After using this for about a week: my older cat has not vomited undigested food. I’m so used to the retching and the heaving and racing to take her to the trash can. She is going #2, regularly. The waste is soft and a good size amount. Much better than non existent, like before. I am happy to see that she is being more productive when going to the litter box. I was dreading how badly she is malnourished because she kept throwing up her food so often. This probiotic seems to help keep the food down and passes it through. There is a slight improvement in her coat. There is an increased appetite. If you know a CKD cat, it is critical to make sure they eat. She is gaining weight, looking forward to meal time, asks for food more often, and seems her system is getting corrected.I plan to keep using this to keep my cats (ckd and non ckd) regular. I will update the review when we are half way through the container and when we complete the container. Especially, as part of a very careful regimen for my CKD girl. Every CKD cat should be on a probiotic. I wish I was using this sooner. I wish my vet would have told me instead of making switch foods and forcing medicine into her body. It is expensive and smells yucky but is needed.In addition to this probiotic, my ckd cat takes these for her kidneys and stiff legs: forza10 renal support, dasuquin, kidney support gold for cats, and Standard Process feline renal support.
