I picked up this Aqua-Tainer to use as a water collection tank for the condensation from my portable air conditioner, and itâs been a fantastic solution. The size is perfectâlarge enough to hold a good amount of water but still manageable to move around.Pros:Spacious Yet Compact: The 7-gallon capacity is more than enough to handle several days’ worth of condensation from my AC unit, even during the hottest days of summer. Despite its capacity, the container doesnât take up too much space and is easy to store or transport.Durable and Sturdy: The rigid design feels really solid. Iâve been using it all summer long, and itâs held up without any issues. No leaks, and the material feels like itâs built to last.Easy to Handle: Even when full, itâs easy enough to carry and empty, thanks to the handle on the side. The spout is also really handy for controlled pouring.Multi-Purpose: Though Iâm currently using it to collect water from my AC, this container would also be perfect for camping or emergency water storage. Had one for many years & used it for hunting purposes. The very convenient & well designed spigot finally broke, replaced it, then the container gave out & cracked. Sturdy & works great off a pickup tailgate.

These are excellent for storing emergency water, and wish I would have come across them before buying the large cylinders of spring water from my local grocery store. I bought two of these, and they have quickly become an essential item in my preparedness kit. This water jugs are a game-changer, offering convenience, reliability, and versatility.One of the standout features of this water jug is its stackable design (as shown in the photo). This makes storage a breeze, especially for those with limited space. The ability to stack multiple jugs allows for efficient use of storage areas, ensuring that you can store an ample water supply without sacrificing valuable space. You cannot do that with the cylindrical jugs.The convenience of having the early reversible/hidden spigot is also very nice and again an upgrade over the cylinder jugs.Cost-effectiveness is another advantage of these jugs compared to the bottled spring water from local grocery stores. Stacking 3 filled containers on top of each other resulted in a collapsed bottom container and water leaking out. The plastic of hese things is way too thin if this is what you are going to rely on in an emergency. The sticker on the top came of during this incident as they are not water resistent. A truly disappointing product.
