Love these
These containers are awesome. This is my second set and while they are a bit pricy, the way they seal airtight keeps your leftovers fresher much longer. Iâve read some reviews that both mention and show cracking or crazing of the material. My first set is 8 months old and this set is about 3 months; I release the seal when reheating leftover and have not had any cracking or crazing. They arenât â cookwareâ but reheating in the microwave has not cause mine any damage and they remain stain free and crystal clear.

5 small Rubbermaid food storage containers.
These are the perfect size for leftovers or diced veggies or fruit. I like that they heat up easily in the microwave (just lift the rubber handles for venting, but leave the lid on. )They seal tightly even after months of repeated use. They stack in the refrigerator or freezer and to date – cross your fingers – not one has cracked after being dropped. I originally thought they were glass when I ordered (over a year ago) my first varied sizes set. They are not – they are some form of plastic with great rubber lid gaskets. I have been so impressed, I ordered this set of the small size which I use almost daily.

Super Light Weight
The plastic is very clear and good quality and super light weight. There are only two seals, one on each side of the lid. They snap shut, and seal pretty well. I wouldn’t use it to heat up food but they are great for salads, or other cold foods. They aren’t that big, enough for one portion, they stack pretty nicely in the fridge.

Rubbermaid Brilliance items are much better than the older styles. They are much better made and have a great design. They seem more durable and do not leak. They do not get food stains either. They are a fantastic upgrade.

Quality storage container
This is a quality kitchen storage container. Just what Iâve been looking for. Just the right size. Sturdy. Can store a variety of foods. It will last a long time. The seal insures against leaks and spillage. Great to have as a four pack. A little pricey but worth it.

Made the switch from Rubbermaid Premier line
After many years of using Rubbermaidâs Premier line, some of my lids no longer fit snugly, and several containers have cracked (due to drops, not quality). I have had the Brilliance line for a couple of months and donât regret the switch. Note: Iâve never used either line in the microwave or freezer.Pros:Due to the rectangular design, I can fit more on fridge shelves and in fridge drawers.Crystal clear, so I can see everything much better.Lids fare better in the dishwasher (top shelf only) than the Premier lids and are more durable overall.Cons:Lids are hard to remove. Hand placement does matter, so you donât hurt your fingers when opening.Condensation on the lids and in the containers is more prevalent than the Premier line.The selection of container sizes is limited.Unlike other reviewsâ¦None of the tabs on my lids have snapped off yet.Even though the lids donât snap together when stacking, they don’t fall over either (see photo).The only container that doesnât stack is the 7.8 cup âpantryâ size that I also use to store food in the fridge.I never fill my containers so high that the food touches the seal of the lid when shut, nor do I pack them for work/school, so getting food and mold in the lidâs crevices is not an issue.I have always had watermark/residue on any plastic ware after a cycle in my dishwasher, so it was already a habit of mine to rinse and air dry before storing.My only hope is these last as long as my Premiers.

Been on wish list for a while now. Finally got them. Great for reheating with no splatter, freezer safe, spill proof, dishwasher safe, stacks well with (in freezer/fridge) and without covers (in drawers). Sizes in the 22 pack are all pretty usable. Whenever these die out, I’ll be buying this exact set again. Love it!
