Some reviews said the phones were not unlocked. I tried it anyway. Spoiler alert, the phones are not u locked. Not only that, but Samsung can’t help.

Ordered 2 – one was unlocked, the other was not
Ordered two b/c I have had good luck with unlocked renewed phones from Amazon renewed in the past. This is the first time I received a phone that was not unlocked. One of the phones was unlocked and I was able to use my SIM card but the other one was renewed for AT&T. Make sure to check your phone when you first receive it. I had to return the one and have another sent. I hope the replacement is unlocked!
