The cat had been attacking the puppy (who is now 10 months old and 3x her size, but still afraid of her) with increasing frequency. She also was urinating in spots where he had spent time, and this was starting to get worse as well.The cat is 17 and has been a grouchy puss her whole life. It’s just her personality. Within a day or two of putting this collar on her, though, I started seeing behaviors emerging that I hadn’t seen in years. First, she started batting around and playing with a little cardboard box that had fallen on the floor. She isn’t generally playful and I hadn’t seen her do anything like that in a good ten years or so. Then, she started being more cuddly and loving with me, which is a rarity from her.It’s now been a week, and these improved behaviors are continuing. More importantly, she isn’t attacking the puppy or peeing inappropriately. I think she may even have tried to engage him in a play session yesterday, but he’s too afraid of her at this point for that to have gone anywhere, even if I am identifying her intent correctly. :)I’m witnessing another astonishing improvement at this very moment, which is what prompted me to write this review. The photo I’m attaching is my current view. The puppy was cuddled up with me, and the cat came up on the couch and snuggled up at my feet. She didn’t mind that the puppy is also on the couch at all. I’m absolutely amazed!Others have complained about the scent of this collar. I can understand that. It does have a pretty intense, scented candle-like aroma. If one is sensitive to scents, I do not recommend getting this.People have also complained about the collar loosening up over time. I have not yet seen this occur, but I also am using it on an elderly and fairly inactive cat. This may be a factor. I do not know.What I do know is that the collar has done exactly what I hoped a product like this would do. I’ll update this review once I know how long the good behaviors last and how frequently the collar needs to be replaced. As of right now, though, I’m considering this thing a godsend.UPDATE: I started seeing a slow decline in the collar’s impact after around 24 days. The cat attacked the puppy like she used to at exactly 30 days. I’m very satisfied with the duration of effectiveness and have started a subscription for this product.

Prepare for long reviewSo we had trouble with my cat aggression against me, new cat and my boyfriend after moving in together. I was very close with my cat when we live by ourselves and one day she just became wild roaring and hissing at everyone in the apartment. Purchased 2 of the collars for both cats. By the way, the collar is very easy to wear on and it took only 10 minutes after cats calmed down and stopped trying to take them off. My cat became more loyal to my boyfriend, seemed stop showing her jealousies and start purring more when he is around (she usually alert when he is around)But after we bring back the other cat in the couple days she became wild again:( So collar doesn’t help us to resolve the problem but it might help someone who’s cat less moody then mine. Also it might help with anxiety and/or travelling.I’ve read many reviews about cats getting allergies to this collar. Both of mine didn’t get anything. (One is outbred cat, other one is Scottish fold) Let’s don’t forget most of the humans have allergy reactions to some products as well. Everything is individual and your allergies don’t make products bad for everyone.

Usamos em nossa gata que já tem 8 anos e é extremamente medrosa, logo, bastante arisca. Ela estava arranhando nosso filho e muito irritada com os outros gatos da casa após uma mudança de apartamento. Felliway não estava mais adiantando, mas o colar foi um sucesso! Ela está tranquila, menos propensa a passar o dia escondida e sem arranhar ninguém. Está até mais afetuosa. Já comprei o segundo.

Have always loves this product for my cats. It stops them from being aggressive to each other and unwanted territory marking. Only complaint is that with the breakaway, my cat knows how to scratch it to loosen it. So we’re putting it back on her every couple days. Good to know that if she needed it off for safety issues, it would unclip easily.
