    Sterling Addition for my home.
First off, I have a Shark Vacuum that has served me exceptionally well for 5 years now. I do take care of it and the fact is for carpet it is outstanding. I wash the filters frequently and replace the filters from time to time when they seem to be less effective. You cannot beat it for carpet. Thank you Shark people! We recently moved to a home that has a conservatory that is carpeted and I have an area rug in the living room. The remainder of the home is hardwood floors and vinyl tile. While having that combination is a great addition to our lives, it does get soiled and needs cleaning with more than a vacuum. I studied the options and decided what is ideal for me.I am in my 70’s but not a weakling, however vacuuming (the carpet vacuum cleaner is heavy for me, the wet mopping with a rag mop, and hauling a bucket of water is a huge challenge as I have about 1400 sq ft of hard floors. I wanted a light weight, no fuss alternative and by golly, this Shark light vacuum and wash is most efficient. I went to Shark first because I love the vacuum cleaner I bought 5 yearsThe new Shark Wet/dry mop is a bit more expensive than the other brand on the market. But that is the only comparison with the other brand that the Shark light vac/wet mop does not win. I mean it folks, this light weight battery-operated product is right there ready to go in my kitchen, it’s easy to use, it’s efficient and I can clean right when the mess is made with NO HASSLE. I highly recommend it.There is no cord to struggle with, it charges easily in about four hours, and can do about half of the hard floor in my house at a time. Frankly, if you follow the instructions word for word you simply cannot lose. It has no moving parts. The only thing you need to replace are the cleaning pads. They have a built-in vacuum compartment in the pad. You do not have to touch the dirty pads, there is an ejector. There is some critical points stressed in several other reviews that I found easy to avoid:1. I can’t get my whole house done on one charge. Ans: As you learn what works best for you, you’ll pick up speed. Or if you have a big house, you can plan to do the wet/dry cleaning over several days.2. I forget to reorder the pads and cleaner.Ans: Use subscribe and save!3. It leaves streaks of grit or whatever I am cleaning.Ans: Remember that you need to do the dry vac FIRST before you make the pad wet. If your floors are REALLY mingen (Scottish for filthy) you may have to change pads midway in the wet clean. You probably know ahead of time when your floors are extra nasty. It’s also easy to take the wet/dry outside and run the pad over concrete to pull off excessive large dirt, hair etc.I also have a lab mix dog and she sheds all year long here in the South. This simple appliance picks up the fur completely on the hard floors. This is neat, lightweight and easily handled.

    Works like a charm!
Lightweight, vacuum and spray mop unit is perfect for all hardwood, tile and laminate flooring! I had my sister buy one and I used it so I bought one as well!It is very easy to assemble, comes with plug in charging line. Holds enough charge to vac and mop 1400 sq ft without recharging. I bought it on a great sale and am very happy with this purchase!

    Highly Recommend!
I highly recommend this product to anyone that has hard floor in a good portion of their home! I’ll start with the cons because it’s just me nitpicking things that might be deal breakers for other people. If you get through the cons and it’s not a hard pass for you, just buy it, you won’t be disappointed.Cons:- There really is no logical solution to making a reusable pad. For the crafty people out there who think they’ve found a work around: Even if you knit or crochet a pad, you’d have to fit it over an existing one for the vacuum feature and then you’d lose suction since the thickness of the material would lift it further from the ground. You could sew a thinner cover, but your vacuum storage will still get full at the same rate. The plastic vacuum piece is very complex and would be a pain to model and 3d print (at least 20+ hours for modeling and then another 40-80hours of printing and trial and error). Therefore, you’re better off just sucking up the dollars to buy refills.- Loose pieces in the vacuum portion will fall out if you’re an aggressive mopper. I would suggest emptying out the loose piece after vacuuming to avoid this AND help your pads last longer.- Once your pad is wet it’s a lot harder to maneuver. The pad catches on the floor a lot easier and it makes the rest of the vacmop want to flip-flop all over the place. Both hands required for that feature. Gotta put the baby down or risk a cramp in your forearm. Disclaimer: I am not jacked in any sense. This might still be a breeze for a regular human, or a good arm day workout for anyone that’s into that.- For about 3 seconds after you let go of the handle, the motor makes a high pitch whine. Drove my dog crazy for a solid month before he got used to it. Honestly, it took me a few days to figure out what was bugging him and I doubt I’d have noticed it otherwise.- It doesn’t work on carpet or shag rugs… kind of a no brainer here. Not sure why but, I had high hopes that I could throw my old vacuum in the basement to save on space after getting this one, but, alas, bedroom carpet will still be the bane of my existence. To be honest, this vacmop will still work for loose items close to the surface, but you’ll still have to keep a regular carpet vacuum in stock.Pros:- The refills are relatively inexpensive (less than a dollar per pad at the time of writing this).- The suction is awesome. This thing picks up everything from M&ms to dog hair.- Cordless! First time cordless vacuumer here and it has changed my life. I can clean any section of my floor without having to map out the clearest path and closest outlet. I don’t have to plug and unplug the vacuum 4 times before I’m done. I don’t have to break my nails on human proof outlet covers or my foot when I forget to put them back on (why do they even make clear ones?!). I’m not tripping on or getting tangled in the cord constantly and I don’t have to wrap it all back up when I’m done. You couldn’t pay me enough to go back to a cord after this.- It keeps a charge. I can vacuum and mop around 1,000sq ft without charging (about 15 minutes). The only time its died on me was right out of the box when I was testing it. Even then, it held the same amount of suction until it died (unlike some products that hold full power for all of 2 minutes and then slowly peter out)- The vacuum stores dirt efficiently so you can go longer with a pad than expected. Example: I sucked up half a crushed hamburger bun and it was shoved so tightly in the back corner I had to use a kabob stick to get it out (not necessary, just trying to give my pads longer life 👍) I go through 2-3 pads a month with daily spot cleaning and weekly routine cleaning.- Hassle free. Other than mopping being a bit of a workout (as mentioned in cons), I can do everything one-handed with ease and without bending over – including attaching and removing pads and cleaners. The charger is attached magnetically and can come off with ease just by brushing it with your foot. I do bend over to plug it back in, but it’d be easy enough to add something to hang the charger from when not in use that would allow you to do both without bending over if needed.- It’s small and lightweight. Easy to store and easy to take up and down stairs

    Good for the money
Works ok on suuuper small clean ups, like bread crumbs, dry cereal. Pretty light and easy to use. Mop feature is great, I just don’t like how hard it is to mop edges/corners.

I really like this vac/map, it’s very practical for my home. It’s great for daily cleaning and also just quick clean ups, it’s very light and easy to carry anywhere in the house. I find the suction to be very good. I mainly use it on the areas of my home with laminate flooring, so the pads do last for a good amount of uses. For tiled areas like my kitchen, that need a deeper clean, I use this more like a broom replacement and then mop with my steam mop, it’s still great because it’s just so much faster than sweeping.

We had a similar piece earlier which broke after almost 2 years of use. Hence, we understand the reliability of this material. It is good and we purchased the same product again.

Delivery was speedy. It was easy to put together and is nice and light. Cleanup has been so much easier with 4 kids. The only thing I dont like is that 1) the charge is not that long and takes 3 hours to recharge and 2) I keep hitting the spray button by mistake while vacuuming, but thats just me. Overall I love it!!
