My Beijiyi spatulas have survived & worked OK after 10+ uses.
Pros: These never melted, even when I left one of these spatulas on a hot frying pan on medium heat. I’m puzzled how someone else said their spatula melted on the frying pan on medium heat. It might be a manufacturing defect, since the “quality control” of many products (esp. Chinese made products) is very low, and this is my experience, about 20% of every Chinese made product I bought from anywhere is junk.Cons: Not very easy to clean because oil and some foods will STICK to the surface.Another “con” is the potential of the thin metal that is encased in the silicone exterior will someday tear through the silicon, as several other buyers stated. So far, that risk hasn’t become a reality with my spatula set. I’ve been careful to NOT use these spatulas to cut or chop anything, and I’ve been careful washing it, because I’ve noticed the silicon will bend very easily, so I predict that one day the silicon will bend far enough that the metal interior will RIP through.
