Not smooth after washing
These were beautiful coming out of the package but I washed them right after arrival before using and they have beds on them from top to bottom back and front. I wish that I knew why and I had already tossed the packaging so I need to know what grit sandpaper I need to smooth them out.

I bought these for my son and daughter in law. My son begged for my wooden spoons when he moved into his own place. I got him these because I wanted him to see the cute faces and think of his mom each time he used them lol. While food does sometimes get stuck in the holes and makes it more difficult to clean, overall, he has been very pleased.

Easy to use
I really enjoy this spurtles when cooking. They are very light and easy on the hands. My hands are not sturdy and they hurt when lifting heavy things. Some cooking utensils are so heavy like some other wood spoons I have. These cherry wood utensils are light, smaller, and easy to use.

These make me smile
Every time I pick one of them up it makes me smile. They are just that fun to look at. They did arrive very dried out though, so I rubbed them with some butcher block oil. Now they look just as nice and shiny as in the pictures on Amazon.
