Absolutely loved this second book in the coffee book series. Just as hilariously funny as the first book and wonderful characters that I need as my best friends! TJ reminds me of my gay nephew who I love so much. Itâs always a party when they are around. Great writing and a wonderful story! Bought the whole series and canât wait to read the next one.

Enjoyed this second book
This second book in the series about Lex and Sarah was enjoyable, with a good mix of drama, emotion and banter. TJ and Kiki add some good laughs.

Lex and Sarah deserve ALL THE STARS!!
Sarah Bowen is living a life she never thought she would. Sheâs the makeup artist for one of the hottest bands in country music, she runs a lifestyle boutique with two of her best friends. The only thing missing is a man to come home to. Sheâs been in love with Lex Ryan since she met him, and sheâs decided she is finally going to make her move.Lex Ryan is the epitome of player. Heâs a different woman every night kind of guy and heâs not ashamed to admit it. Heâs not going to settle down, and even though heâs been attracted to Sarah from the first time they met, heâs vowed he wonât pursue it. She deserves a nice guy and heâs not that guy. When the band heads off on their European tour and they stay in Ireland, Lexâs past gets pulled to the forefront, can he move past what happened to him? Or will Sarahâs efforts be in vain?I have been impatiently waiting for Lex and Sarahâs story ever since Coffee Girl. Sophie Sinclair did not disappoint with their book. From the very first page I was drawn in and I didnât want to put this book down. Lex was such a mystery in the first book so I couldnât wait to see what all that mystery was about. Absolutely loved this book. The friendship between all of the characters was amazing and their banter was hilarious. They are all there for each other no matter what and thatâs hard to find sometimes. Also, the chemistry between Sarah and Lex, white hot, it was almost palpable. I couldnât wait to see what was going to happen between these two. Sophie drew me into the story, I felt like I could feel the emotions and envision what was happening. She painted such an amazing picture with her words and created such a beautiful story. I loved Kiki and Tatum, but damn do I love Lex and Sarah even more.

LEX is my favorite!!
I am not exaggerating when I say you need this book in your life. I honestly don’t think my words could do this book justice. I loved being back in the Coffee Book world with all the previous characters from book one. They are still a huge part of book two and it makes it all that more amazing. The Makeup Artist will make you laugh out loud, cry, want to punch someone in the face, and melt your heart all at the same time. How is that possible you ask? It just is. Sophie Sinclair has an innate ability to create characters that are so down to earth, real, and easy to connect and relate to.I loved learning how Sarah became a part of the group and how her and Lex first met. Sarah is so freaking adorable and full of sunshine, I couldn’t help but feel all the happy energy that she was feeling. Now Lex, well he is swoon-worthy and just an amazing human. That accent in my head melts me into a puddle of butter. I love it! We also learn about Lex and his past and why he is the “no relationship” man that he is. I thought these two were a perfect match for one another, as they complement each other well.As I mentioned before this story took me on a roller-coaster of emotions and I had a hard time putting the book down. When it was all said and done I was left feeling so happy, like I was floating on cloud nine. I highly recommend The Makeup Artist. It can be read as a standalone, but trust me you’ll want to read about Tatum and Kiki from Coffee Girl.

A gripping story
This book is funny and makes you cry. This book is for adults or anyone 18 and over. I love this group, and I really enjoyed Kiki and Sarah’s adventures.

Good sequel
I liked Sarah quite a bit more than expected, Lex a little less. He was a great romantic character but his inability to see past his ex’s obvious crazy made him a bit less likeable. If you liked the prequel Coffee Girl you’ll like this one just as much.

Satisfying sequel
3 1/2 stars – in this book we get the story of Sarah, make up artist to the stars, and Lex, lead guitarist in one of the countryâs hottest bands. The story is a touching one of how an early betrayal shakes Lexâs ability to form relationshipswith women.I really loved this book until about the 3/4 point. And then the immature behavior of the heroineâs best friends really disappointed me. I think it was supposed to be funny. Instead, for me, it really felt like mean girl behavior.

Sexy Rocker
OMG! I loved âCoffee Girlâ but Sophie knocked it out of the park with âThe Makeup Artist.â This is an emotional, funny, enjoyable read. It will keep you engaged from start to finish. Lex and Sarahâs chemistry is off the charts. The lead up to their relationship was a slow burn, they were attracted to each other from the start but did not act on that attraction. Lex is the epitome of a sexy rocker, enjoying all the perks that come with being a musician. Sarah is a beautiful, sassy, strong woman. While on tour in Ireland, the home of the sexy rocker, they take their relationship to the next level and that slow burn ignites. Like all good love stories the road to happy ever after is never straightforward. The twists and turns in the road to Lex and Sarahâs HEA are unexpected and will tug at your heartstrings. Sophie writes such great characters, some you will love, who will have laughing out loud and others you will love to hate. If you are looking for a well written, captivating read, I highly recommend this book.Advanced copy provided by the author in exchange for an honest review

I’m in love with these 2. They make my heart so happy. It takes some work and drama but they get to where they are meant to be.
