Does not work with Metro Mobile
Brought to Metro Mobile. They added the sim card and it was working fine when I left the store. About 10 minutes later it went into Emergency Calls Only mode. I was trying out the SOS button so i though I did something. Then I noticed there was a No Sim Card icon, and no network connection. I brought it back to Metro Mobile, they reset it, still did not work. They then called the corporate for help and they reset the network connection (what ever that is) and it still did not work. Ultimately told me it was not compatible with Metro Mobile (T-Mobile) network. Even though description on page says it is.

Works decently for my great grandmother so far
This phone has worked pretty well for my great grandma so far. It is not something that she cannot learn which is great. The battery life is pretty good for a flip 4G flip phone is not bad. What I do like is that you could easily get two to three days on one full charge easy depending on the usage. My grandma does not have to worry about charging it every night. It also comes with a nice charging cradle so she just pops it in and it starts working. You do get 4G so you do get some internet. It is not going to be blazing fast on a flip phone but it is nice to have. The keys are pretty nice and large. The front camera is what you expect it to be. You are looking at taking pictures at low quality unfortunately. I would say you are taking a picture with a low quality flash camera. The sound on this device is a bit low. I do not really hear it when I have it in my pocket but there is a nice SOS feature on the outside. The device will send a text message to people on the list (that you setup) and state you are in trouble or need help. This is great for if you are unable to open your phone. It will automatically send the text. The flash light on this phone is really low. Even with two led lights you can actually hardly see with this. You have to get within about three inches of where you want to see just to get good enough light. The device does a sim card. The micro SD card can be put in as well although it can be hard to spot as there is a piece of plastic over the micro SD card slot that makes you think it is too small but you can slide it under. This device also will only be useful for if you are utilizing T mobile in the states. It will not work with any other provider unfortunately. It does come with standard headphone which are pretty low in quality. The plastic is very flimsy and I feel the wires will wear down fast. It does use a standard micro usb cable for charging and a full charge is about three hours but can last several days depending on usage. Overall the device is okay, but there are too many features that do not make this the best phone. There are limitations on carriers, the sound is low, the led lights are very low; however, it does have a good SOS system and there material on the outside is pretty well built (except with blue you may notice scratches)

Works Long Distance
Carried It To Jamaica and It Worked Amazingly. Only thing is the battery dies a little fast but nothing too crazy.

Technically, It’s A Good Deal, But Mising A Key (Correct) Part
By current standards, the phone is a throwback to the late 90’s. That’s not a slam. It’s just what you should expect based on the description and the photographs. It’s a VERY simple, flip phone, with a low-resolution screen. The biggest problem is that it came without the necessary SIM card, so it’s unusable to me. I can’t speak to battery life because I can’t use it.

Not functioning
I purchased this to replace a flip phone that wasn’t working but as soon as I received it the old one started to work so I set it aside . 2 months ago the old phone quit working again so I tried to activate the Ushining phone. I have tried 4 different sim cards and have been on the phone for around 8 hours with TracFone trying to transfer my number and minutes to it, to no avail. It keeps saying Emergency call only and will not do anything else! I spent $80 for this phone and cannot use it. Can someone at Least please let me know if I can exchange it for another as there is definitely something wrong with this phone! I have tried 4 different sim cards!

UPDATE: SIm card won’t work with TMobile, you have to take it to a carrier to turn it on.
UPDATE! The sim card that comes with this phone WILL NOT work with T-Mobile. You have to take the phone to T-Mobile to buy one of their sim cards for $10. This is very frustrating. It looses another star in the rating. Note that you cannot set this phone up by yourself… you have to go into a carriers store like T-Mobile to get this phone turned on properly.Original post: This is a very nice senior flip phone. Our father is a 97 year old WWII veteran that loves to talk on the phone and needed to replace his old cell phone. This phone is very appealing because it is a flip phone and not so ‘smart’ where he can easily figure it out. Open the phone and dial your number, hit the green button and it rings to the person you are trying to call. When you are done with the call, just close the phone and it is off. It also has a way to program/speed dial buttons. There is a SOS button on the phone that will allow the senior to call emergency services and/or up to 5 contacts incase of an emergency. The numbers are big and easy to read. The audio is loud and great for hard hearing people. It is a bit weird when you first start it up. To make this phone unlocked, they want you to take the sim card out and put it in your phone first, then put it into the senior flip phone. I have not finished the install yet, because I need to get a T-Mobile pre-paid phone card first. So far, I am very happy with this phone, and I think Dad will be able to use it with no issues.

DOES NOT WORK
Don’t waste your money on this phone. Despite setting up my account at SpeedTalk, with the provided SIM card and getting confirmation and receiving a new cell phone number, the phone will not work. It’s in Emergency Call Only mode. It won’t acknowledge the SIM card or connect to any network. I wasted two hours trying to get this to work and nothing. Very, very angry.
