Sturdy containers w/snug fitting lids — so versatile + transparent so I can see contents…
These are versatile and easy to use storage containers. I received the set of ten in the 50 ounce size. They are fairly small and compact so they fit easily in my kitchen cabinets. They are just the right size to hold items such as a two-pound package of brown sugar or powdered sugar. I buy a lot of grains, soup mixes and and baking supplies in those convenient resealable pouches. But sometimes it takes me a while to get through an entire bag, and I like the extra assurance of freshness that comes from keeping the dry goods in the original package, sealing it up and storing it in one of these containers. Essentially ensuring a double seal. Of course they would work equally well if I just dumped the food to be stored out of the original packaging and into the container. But my preference is to preserve the original packaging as sometimes and not bother with adding my own labels, even if this strategy doesn’t save quite as much space. That is what I do with my much larger containers of all-purpose flour and sugar since they get used up more readily. In addition to the sugars I already mentioned, I have packed partially used bags of 13-bean soup mix, lentils, pea soup mix, buttermilk powder for baking, potato flakes, tapioca and an egg substitute in these containers. They are perfect for those small bags of specialty flours, too. The containers are not crystal clear, but they are transparent, so that I can easily read the labels on the packages inside. The lids are also transparent, so I can see the contents at a glance and don’t have to pull all of the containers out to find the one I want. The containers are light-weight but fairly rigid and they feel strong and durable. The lids also feel sturdy and the gasket around the rim allows for a tight seal. There are hinges on each side to clamp the lid firmly in place. They are easy to release and the lid lifts right off. I appreciate that these are microwave, freezer and dishwasher safe, but for my purposes they are used only for dry goods that are stored in a cupboard or pantry. I hand wash them, and I like that the gasket can be removed for through cleaning. This set of containers arrived in a nice box (two stacks of five) although I did have some trouble getting them apart at first. I like the bonus measuring cups — I separated them so I can keep one in some of the containers. I don’t need the marker and labels because I am always changing the products I want to store, but I will happily use them for something else. The price is great and I would definitely buy these again or one of the larger sets with an assortment of sizes.

decent quality containers but a bit on the small side
These YASHE Airtight Food Storage Containers Set of 16, Plastic Cereal Storage Containers with Lids are a decent quality container with a snap shut lid but, for my purposes, I find them to be on the small size. They do not full boxes or bags of food, for example cereal or pasta, so that was disappointing to find. I have found uses for smaller items so they are still great for that so just keep in mind the size of the items you would like to store.While the lids are snap on, I have had other plastic storage containers that the lids snap on easier than these. Overall, the quality of both the container and lid is decent but not the best I have had.They come with labels and a marker which is very nice to be able to label your items. I do find them hard to pull apart when they are stacked and being stored when not in use. The take up too much room not to stack so that is a bit frustrating.

 What’s included:- 20 plastic containers 4 different sizes of 5 pieces each.- 24 label/stickers (2 styles)- White marker- Measuring spoons- 2 year warrantyThe 20 pack of plastic food containers by the YASHE store offer a variety of different sized containers to help keep food fresh by having an excellent air tight seal. These containers can also be stacked on top of one another and thus offer a great way to organize the kitchen.The set of 20 consists of 5 containers of 4 differing sizes ranging from 0.43 Liters to 2 Liters in capacity.In addition to the containers, the seller includes 24 black coloured labels which can be stuck on to the containers. The 24 labels are made up of two different styles. Additionally, there is a white marker which can be used to write down the contents of each container on the black labels. The great thing about the marker is that it can be wiped off without removing the label so if the contents of a container change, its as simple as rewriting the label. I also find the labels to do a pretty good job at repelling water which is useful when I am washing out the containers to clean them.Finally, there are also 4 different sized measuring spoons that are included. The sizes of the spoons from low to high are 1/4 cup, 1/3 cup, 1/2 cup and 1 cup. I now have several measuring spoons in my kitchen and I seem like I can never have enough. Each of the measuring spoons is also made of plastic and are different bright colours.Getting back to the containers, the first thing I noticed about the containers is that they are frosted so although they are clear its not 100% but certainly not frosted enough to create difficulty in knowing what’s inside a container by looking at it. The containers all have the same sized lids so the lids can be used interchangeably with the containers regardless of size.The four different sizes allow for different types of food items to be stored within them. For example in the tallest container we have items such as spaghetti as well as lentils while as seen in my video, for the smaller containers we store such things as dehydrated peppermint and oregano.Perhaps the characteristic of these containers that makes them a good value is the quality of the lids and the locking mechanism that creates an airtight seal. Each of the lids uses a four flap system (please see video for further illustration) that lock very tightly and take some brute force to unlock as well. Additionally, each lid contains silicone strips to aid in the process of keeping air out and that’s critical because it is that ability to keep out air that helps to sustain food held in the containers that much longer.Perhaps the one drawback of this 20 pack set is the fact that the lids do not have a separate lid which can be popped open to access the contents. Because of the size of these lids being what they are, the way to access the contents of each container is to remove the lid entirely or at least unlocking most of the flaps to be able to get access to what’s inside. With bigger sizes, sometimes one finds a small flap that can be raised to pour out the contents ie pouring out cereal and because of the effort that must be made to both open and close these lids, doing so can be a bit of a nuisance but its a small price to pay in order to keep food fresh.In summary, these containers do an excellent job at keeping contents protected and well sealed which results in improved freshness over time. While there is no easy access to the containers without removing the lids, I find this to be a price I am willing to pay to keep my food fresh.Its also worth noting that there is alot provided here including labels and a marker as well as the measuring spoons, all of which are useful and help to keep things organized and accessible.These are good quality containers that perform well right out of the box.Finally, they also come with a 2 year warranty which is extra helpful to stretch ones dollars and can be cleaned in the dishwasher although I clean them by hand. I have put them to use and they make my daily routine a little more organized, and who can argue with that.Cheers,

Spesso in vari spazzi della cucina con il tempo si forma disordine…..ho pensato a questi contenitori di varie misure per riordinare un po . Arrivano in 3/4 giorni dall ordine , si presentano solidi e ognuno presenta una guarnizione che li rende ermetici quindi volendo si possono mettere anche liquidi . Abbiamo diviso varie paste , riso , foglie per lasagne ma anche biscotti , farine e chi più ne ha più ne metta , abbiamo creato così molto ordine e spazio ……nella confezione ci sono etichette con un buon adesivo e un pennarello bianco per scrivere il prodotto inserito , attenzione di non toccare subito dopo aver scritto sull etichetta ma lasciare asciugare così mantiene bene le lettere …..molto utili per salvaspazio …….buona plastica e fattura

This is great value for money it’s really useful the airtight lids are very good however they are a little bit temperamental initially because they’re quite stiff and also the size wasn’t as big as I thought that was probably because I possibly didn’t read it before us bought it but they are very good
