I LOVE this set because there are HUGE options included. I included pics for scale. The largest is the size of a cereal box, (standard size cereal box, not family size). I can fit a small casserole in there, or prep cooked meats from the crock pot for husband to make up dinners and lunches during the week when he’s on odd hours from mine and is eating at 2a.m. when the rest of us are sleeping.The medium one is the size of a cheez-itz box, which is still pretty huge. The other two sizes are the perfect size for a regular lunch or a salad, or leftover sides from dinner. All the containers are the perfect size for holding lots of food and they’re going to be really, really handy for prep cooking at our home.The plastic is thick and sturdy, the lids fit on tight, and they lock in with the side tabs. Once locked in, it can take some pressure to unlock those tabs, which I like. Kids won’t open these easily, and I feel like these can sit in lunch boxes or wherever and not come open on their own.I like that this is a real set of real food storage for real people. This isn’t a sixteen piece set that 8 of those sixteen pieces are lids and then another four items included are dip cups. You’ve got 8 pieces of big, nice plastic containers, and then the corresponding lids.All the lids fit perfectly. None of the containers are warped or cut incorrectly. No nicks, dings, scuffs, or damage to them at all. Everything is perfect about this set.And the size? Perfect. I’ll be buying again. These will go missing, found months later in the trunk of someone’s car. It happens with all our sets. Some never turn up again, which I think is my husband just throwing them away rather than bringing them into the house, to avoid getting the side eye from me, lol.The instructions warn to pop open the lid tabs before microwaving, which I think is good knowledge to include. Let the steam escape rather than risking these cracking under the pressure of the heat in the container.I wash the lids by hand, because of the acrylic seals, but that’s a personal preference. They do say that they’re dishwasher safe.They’re a good price for a set with huge containers. And those locking lids really make these easy to close and keep airtight.

Terrific set but be careful in the microwave
This is a terrific set of storage containers. The largest one is quite big, a good size for freezing a large quantity of soup, chili or spaghetti sauce, or maybe raw hamburger that has already been made into patties and wrapped in plastic wrap, etc. The smallest one is a single-portion size, perfect for packing a snack like crackers or pretzels for one, or for refrigerating that last serving of mashed potatoes or green beans that you don’t want to throw out. And of course there are two more dishes in between the largest and smallest sizes. The plastic is nicely thick and somewhat flexible, as are the lids, and also semi see-through, so you can see what’s inside and will be more likely to actually eat it instead of wasting it. I love how the lids have snap closures on all four sides; they seem much sturdier than the typical pop-on lids. I filled a couple of these containers with water, snapped on the lids, turned the containers upside down and every which-way, and they did not leak a drop, even when I squeezed them. They nest for storage, which saves a lot of space.I recommend caution when using these in the microwave; they are labeled as microwave safe, but you can see in my photo that I allowed the microwave to get my food too hot and it left some melted areas in the corners on one side. Of course the dish and lid still work fine, but just keep this in mind as far as the microwave goes. I typically don’t like using plastic in the microwave anyway, and this bolsters my opinion on that. I think you could gently warm food without an issue; just don’t allow your food or these dishes to get too hot.Having said that, these are great containers regardless. They air air-tight, come in a good variety of sizes for just about any need, the plastic is flexible for freezing and won’t crack, they won’t break if dropped like my similar containers made of glass, they nest for storage, and as of this writing they are well priced for a set of four, especially considering how big the largest one is.

 Out of the box:YASHE Airtight Food Container Set (4 Containers) (Number MB-04 as per number on box);The set consists of: 0.5 L / 1.0 L / 1.5 L / 2.5 LThey feel to be quite durable.The lids snap on easily.While they are described as a food container set, they can be used to store non-food items.I tested the leak proof claim out by submerging the 2.5 L container in my kitchen sink. I put some toilet paper inside the container and used my hands to hold the container under water for a couple of minutes. Water did not leak in. The paper remained dry.At the time of this review, I am using the 1.5 L container to store some breaded chicken and the 0.5 L container to store some SD Cards, etc. The chicken is in the refrigerator; the SD Cards are not. I think I will go check to make sure. I am in my upper 70s and sometimes I get things like that switched around, lol.The seller’s description is comprehensive.I give these YASHE Airtight Food Container Set 5-Stars. I am sure a couple of them will be joining me on my fishing outings this year.If I have any problems, I will update this review.

If you’re like me, you have a container cupboard that is overflowing with mismatched food storage containers and likely a few missing lids here and there. I’ve been trying to get my kitchen cupboards organized and that one has been a daunting task until these storage containers showed up. I quickly got rid of the scattered takeout containers and mismatched lids, put these into my cupboard and I have been using them non-stop since. I used the largest size to store my flour and my baking cupboard so that I was able to tuck away the large bulky bag into the pantry at the back.I love how organized this makes. My cupboards appear, the lids and containers are easy to clean and added bonuses that they’re actually dishwasher and microwave safe. I have run them through the dishwasher with great results, having no issues with warping or clouding to the plastic. I haven’t tried them out in the microwave because I hate the idea of ruining how beautifully clear these are, and we eat a lot of Curry and pasta here, which always stain containers when the food is microwaved in them.I honestly have no complaints. The price is right, the durability and quality is on point, And my OCD is beyond happy right now because of how nice my storage cupboard looks with these in it!
