A superb pan that is non-stick, durable and very versatile.
THE CAROTE 2.5 QUART SAUCEPAN WITH LID. I have, in the past 1.5 years bought about 4 Carote pans, but I now almost always use just two of them– the above pan and The Carote 6 quart 12 inch saucepan with lid. Please refer to my first review of the 12 inch saucepan was extremely popular with the readership– some 230 of which found the review useful. The 12″ is my favorite pan of any I have ever bought. I use it about 1 to 2 times per week to make different soups, pasta sauce and Thai food platters. It is now about 1 year since I purchased that pan, and it is still amazingly non-stick and looks like the day I bought it– no scratches, no peeling and no discoloration. I did point out, in this latter review, that some stove-tops, in which the heat temperature used is to high, greater than 500 degrees F, can lead to this pots destruction in a few weeks. The 2.5 qt saucepan was purchased June of 2023– some 8 months ago. It is now my second best pan I have ever purchased that is not so large as the 12 inch pan. I now use this pan almost every day each week, for about 6 months– again without any deterioration and maintaining a perfect non-stick surface. I am now retired and love to cook for myself and my wife. I use it for the following items: 1) Oat Meal using 4 cups Oats, 3 cups water, 1 cup milk, 1/4 tsp of Potassium Chloride (NO SALT is name of this ingredient which is anti-high blood pressure producing), raisins, and cinnamon. After some 10-12 minutes of cooking, one can let it cool down, and storing it in a 1 quart plastic container for the refrigerator. Some of you may pose this question: How can you use 4 cups of oats and 4 cups of fluid and get that into a 1 qt container, since those 2 components add up to 8 cups of ingredients added to the pan, which should be 2 quarts in volume? The only reasonable answer I could come up with is that the Oats absorb so much of the fluid that the final fully-cooked product is reduced to only 1 quart in volume; 2) second major recipe we use is for either two 8 oz filet mignons versus a 1 lb slab of Rib-Eye Steak bone-free. Before cooking my wife cuts out the vast majority of any visible areas of thick, hard, firm, white fat. We prefer using choice, rather than prime steaks, since choice has significantly more lard-like, hard fat than choice cuts. This, I suggest is for health reasons, since red meat fats are definitely a prime factor in most instances of advanced arteriosclerosis. After significant de-fating of the gross fat deposits, my wife then covers the meat with a small amount of mustard powder and crushed garlic letting this set for 1-2 hours or more before cooking. When we are ready for dinner I put 1 tbl. spoon on extra-virgin olive oil into its bottom, turn on my electric stove to 7 of 10 setting and after a few minutes place in the steaks. Use the heat setting that give one sizzling olive oil and which should sears the meat on each side in about 6 minutes total. Then cook your meat to your desired preferance. We like our beef medium-well (about 120-140 degrees F). Using this pan your desired meat cooking time can be achieved in about 10-14 minutes, at most. Another great feature of this pan, is that each time you take off the cover, to check or turn the meat to the other-side, oil splatter is remarkably reduced to absent, as compared to most pans which are quite low in height. This pan is about twice the height of a standard 2.5 qt pan. It is also well designed to cook many of your fresh or frozen vegetables such as celery admixed with either carrots or peas, or for cooking any vegetable such as broccoli, frozen corn, peas, etc. Hope you end up appreciating and enjoying this pan as much as we have.

Best Pots ever..
I love the look of these pots. I bought several sets. the big frying. pan is great but the little pots like these are the. perfect size to steam dumplings and make won ton soup and any condensed soup. I’ve had much more expensive pots that didn’t cook as well. I would recommend these to anyone. I would also suggest that if youre going to stack them, you put a paper towel between them so they don’t scratch!

Nice set
Unboxing to setup: they came nicely packaged and boxed. No assembly required, just remove from packaging.Maintenance: so far I have only ran the lids in the dishwasher on the top shelf, I have not used the pots in the dishwasher for fear it’ll ruin them. So, hand washing it for now. It’s probably fine for the dishwasher, but I’d rather not risk it.Use: pots work great for cooking. They look clean and elegant.Overall: I recommend these!

These are sweet!
I’m loving how well these work. And I love the feel of them. There’s definitely a stone type of feel. And Idk if the stoneware material is responsible but a couple of times I forgot things that normally boil over, but they didn’t spill over at all.If there’s any con it would be that since it’s a stone type material, that it can be challenging to remember to not put cold water in it right after emptying the hot contents. It does also say in the supervise print to not put it in cold water while the pot is still hot.

Even cooking. Easy to clean. Look so good.Bought a set for my daughter-in-law and she absolutely loves them. In fact her mom bought a set also. Got a set of âspurtlesâ to use with them for both of us. And not worried about any toxins leaking into the food.

As a visually impaired person I’ve struggled to find good induction pans that stand out against my black hob. These white pans , inside and out are perfect.the finish is stunning, and they are the easiest to clean of any pan I’ve used. Nothing sticks to them and it takes no effort at all to wash them. Over many months now of use I can’t detect any wear at all on the surface. The handles are really comfortable and the base is thicker than most and so the pan feels very stable. The lids fit very well and the handles don’t get hot.Not sure of the need for the air vent in the lid as the pans have a pouring lip which means steam can escape that way . but its no problem in any way.I would say it takes these pans a tiny bit longer to heat up from the start because of the solid base but once going they have the same instant response to changes in temperature as any other induction pan, and the base means that heat is very eveninly distributed. The pouring lip is very useful but both my husband and i found it is on the wrong side of the pan for us. Although right handed we both tend to use our left hand to pour from pans if inddeed that is what we need to do and so the lip is on the wrong side of the handle. However we both found that It pours well with out the lip anyway and we both found we could easily swap hands and pour using our dominant hand so it’s really just a quirk I think. Maybe we are just a bit of an odd pair of cooks. My only real criticism is that there aren’t more in the range, one extra large saucepan would be really welcome, and it could be easier to buy them individually than it seems to be.
