A very pleasant surprise!
I’ve gone through at least a half dozen frying pans over the last 10 years. None of them have lasted anywhere near the promised durability they advertised. Worse yet, most of them starting to lose their non-stick properties within a few weeks or so; the best lasted perhaps a few months before food started to stick to the pan.I can happily report that this pan is the outlier – the non-stick surface hasn’t changed at all; it’s just as slick as the day it arrived. The fact that this pan is deep, with very high sides, significantly reduces splattering when cooking, This makes cleaning the stove a quick and simple task vs. most other pans.The 6-quart capacity means you can prepare a huge skillet meal for the entire family with room to spare. The handle for both the pan and the lid stay cool to the touch, which is a pleasant change from metal handles that often require you to use oven mitts after they heat up.The usual non-stick pan caveats apply here: cook using a low to medium heat only. I was able to brown meat and vegetables by cooking them for a longer time at a lower heat; the result was juicy and delicious. Use a small amount of oil when pre-heating the pan, and avoid all cooking oil sprays as they have additional ingredients that, over time, can ruin the non-stick coating. And of course, hand wash the pan using a soft sponge, nothing abrasive; and use nylon, silicone or wood cooking utensils to avoid scratching the surface. Also avoid soaking the pan after cooking; if you rinse it out and hand wash/dry it shortly after you prepare your food and after the pan has cooled off, it will be a snap.All in all, an excellent, versatile non-stick pan at an extremely low price – HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Absolutely love these pots and pans. Beyond easy to clean, does not stain, and gorgeous to look at. Only downside is I have a gas stove and you have to be careful not to have the flames too high or the wood handles may get burned.

AMAZING! But does get worn out after use
We got this pan over a year ago (14 months ago) and have used it almost every single day – it is AMAZING! I cook pasta sauces, curries, eggs, literally everything in this pan.It is soooo useful!The only con is that it does get pretty worn after lots of use, and the “non-stick” part only lasts maybe 6 months.It has not been non-stick for many months now, but it’s still been great!But I just reached a point with it where it is really not usable for anything that can stick – eggs, etc. So I actually just ordered another one!!!Highly recommend, just know that it doesn’t last forever, and you’ll need a replacement one every year or so…

I love this brand & have 2 of their skillets. They look good and they are sturdy. Solid products with excellent non-stick properties. So pretty youâll want to keep one on display but this particular skillet is huge – more of a fryer than a skillet. Pay close attention to the measurements.

Amazing, Incredible, LOVE
I love this pan so much! I have been wanting something like this for such a long time to prepare all different kinds of meals and I was finally able to purchase it and I have not used any other cooking option since purchasing!! It is so versatile with anything that can be cooked in it. It is wide enough like a pan to make anything from breakfast pancakes to Sloppy Joe dinner but there is also a depth to it for individuals who like to fry foods or even to make a soup or stew. I literally cannot think of anything that you cannot make in this pan. I do not believe it is oven proof so some items like a souffle canât be made in it but that ok for me, I love it for the stove top! The heat distribution is unmatched, and it is extremely easy to clean. All I do is wash it in a warm soapy water in the sink and nothing has stuck to it so far. I’m going to be buying another one very soon! And for any friends or family that need a fantastic cooking pan they are going to be getting one of these as well.

Better than my AlClad cookware!
This non-stick pan is AMAZING! It cooks evenly, never sticks and cleans up super well. A feature I LOVE is that it has a curved rim on both sides for easy pouring – I never knew this feature was available and now it is a MUST HAVE! I have been using AlClad cookware exclusively for 28 years and I often choose this pan over my AlClad. My favorite things about the pan is that the bottom never gets stained or yucky and clean up is super easy. I love this pan and I will likley give this as a wedding gift moving forward.

I am very pleased with this pan, I never write reviews but felt I had to. Sooo easy to clean, I feel like it’s the only non-stick pan I haven’t destroyed after multiple uses. Nice and deep as well. One think is (I have the white color) it gets a bit discoloured if that bothers you. All in all though, a great choice!

I have many top of the line, high end, well known (with famous chef’s names) cookware. This pan by Carote rivals them all. I chose the white and aesthetically it is beautiful.In order to maintain the longevity of a non-stick pan there are several important “dos and don’ts” to remember. Never put cold water into a hot pan, never wash the pan while it is still hot and do not use abrasive sponges to clean the pan. I never use a high heat as it disrupts the integrity of the non-stick coating. I use medium heat and wait until the pan has reached the desired temperature to cook what I am making. I never use a high temperature as this is what causes “hot spots” which will result in discolouration of any pan. The Carote pan has excellent heat distribution. In order to avoid scratches and wear-and-tear I always use wood or silicone utensils.I have cooked salmon, chicken, several different stir fry dishes using a myriad of sauces and sautéed many different vegetables, all of which cooked to perfection. I let the pan cool down and then wipe it clean with a paper towel. At this point the pan is literally spotless. Then when the pan is completely cool I wash it in soapy water with a soft sponge and the pan is sparkling clean. A non-stick pan is only as good as the care you take each and every time you use it.Everything glides beautifully in the Carote pan. I use a quick, extremely light shot of avocado oil (which has an extremely high smoke point) and absolutely nothing sticks to the pan. Even without the avocado oil if I am just using sauces or water (as in poached salmon), the food skates across the pan – literally.The Carote cannot be used in the oven as other cookware can, however, with how superb the pan cooks this does not bother me at all. The capacity is definitely enough to cook for four people. I can cook enough food for my meal and refrigerate or freeze the leftovers in several containers.I am absolutely thrilled with this pan and I highly recommend the Carote for all your stove top cooking.
