Wanted to purchase more but not allowed.
I purchased this product in December of last year. The surface was pretty rough so I sanded it lightly and I love it. Irecently found it again on Amazon with a reduction in price so I ordered four more. The quality of the recent orders is better and smoother than the original one. Iâm giving them to friends and family as gifts. But this week as I attempted to order more my order was rejected because they are limiting the number you can purchase. Needless to say, I wish they had not limited me. I have to add that the item is nothing like that item displayed. But at 1/3 to 1/4 of the cost of the one pictured Iâm happy with the ones I got. Yes it may be rough and it may rust and it may be heavy. But for anyone who really knows cast-iron and how to maintain it this is a phenomenal buy. This is a multiuse pan. You can make pancakes or pizza or scrambled eggs or baked cookies and the list goes on and on – buy it and enjoy it.

This reasonably priced, beautifulllt made skillet is a perfect addition to camping cookware. With minimal preparatory seasoning with Crisco and a couple pounds of fried bacon, this piece performed perfectly over the campfire. Love it! I am sure it will become one of my go-to pieces.

I havenât used this yet so Iâll rate the best I can. I was very disappointed in the roughness of the cast. I wouldnât have purchased had I known even though Iâm only going to make pizza with it. Now, after saying that, itâs not worth sending back because it will work for what I want.

Great cast iron pizza pan.
This cast iron is as good as any but don’t follow the company’s seasoning instructions. Follow what Lodge recommends and that is to season above the smoke point of the oil you are using. Do this in the oven for at least one hour. This will turn the oil into a polymer seasoning. The key is very light coats of oil. So, I apply it then warm the pan for a minute or two and then wipe is all off with a dry towel. Repeat this one more time and then set the oven above the smoke point and bake for an hour. Lodge has a seasoning smoke point chart online. Think of seasoning like spray painting, several thin layers is better than one heavy coat.

Awesome cast iron. I seasoned the pan with Crisco 3x when I got it. Next day I made pizza in a 550° F oven. Pizza slid right off after baking. Beautiful pan and the size is perfect

This is probably the best value you can get for a girdle (for crumpet, pikelet, drop scones etc). Bought this to make my own wraps at home, but needed them bigger than a frying pan. Proper cast iron and easy to maintain. Recommended.
