Needed a new steamer pot for seafood. This one is very well made. I just might buy another one and trash my old one. I just wish I could order one without the small steamer piece. Really donât need 2.

So Far So Good, But…..
I bought this to replace my old steamer. It really looks nice and has a good ‘healthy’ weight to it. I put water in the bottom pot and put the lid onto it. When the water started to boil I heard a cracking sound almost immediately…It really freaked me out because of the pictures I saw from some of the other customers who bought this product that had their lids explode on them. I didn’t want the lid to explode on me too… I kept telling my husband that I think this lid is going to crack. It didn’t, but I’ve never been so nervous cooking. There is something definitely wrong with this lid. None of my other pots and pan lids ever made a cracking sound. I don’t want to return it because the set looks so nice, but I hope it doesn’t do this again. I have a funny feeling that it will. 🙁

Favorite Pot!
It’s often hard to purchase cooking products off a website. In this case, I believe I found the perfect size all around stock pot. Not only is it easy to clean, the smaller steamer makes the perfect vegetable. ( of course you have to know exactly when to stop the cooking cycle ) I have made countless batches of soup as well. Favorite pot by far.

I am happy so far! The pot seems sturdy and well made. I like that it’s multipurpose and it has cooked everything evenly so far! I haven’t had any of the leaking or discoloration issues that some reviews mentioned. I’m very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice new 8 qt pot!

Ya tenÃa otras ollas de esta marca. No es “premium” pero por 1000 MXN me parece que es muy buena compra. El tamaño es bastante generoso y se agradece que incluya el accesorio para vaporera. Es tan grande que incluso se pueden hacer tamales, sopas y caldos para una familia completa.
