Great sized saute pan
I have a number of saute pans that are non-stick, aluminum and my daughter said to switch. I used to have all stainless years ago but did not learn how to preheat the pan first to ensure a non-stick cooking in a stainless pan. Old dog, new trick I guess. I love using stainless; it does such a good job of heat distribution and is easy to clean. This is a very, heavy duty pan; deep enough to cook a roast and does go from stovetop to oven. Great value!

Great pot and value!
I was really surprised by the weight and quality of this pot! It’s large and fairly heavy so that may be a consideration for some. But this cooks and cleans well especially for the price.

Terrific!
Even heat distribution, nice cooking, easy to clean, not as expensive and just as good as many others. For those who complain of small markings on the steel, they are minimal. I did not bargain for a museum piece, but an excellent cooking pot and I got it. A 20-minute soak in hot soapy water cleans it quite adequately and attractively for my taste.

Very good pan but it is also harder to clean than some. Good Value
This is a very nice pan but it does have a tendency to pick up heat from the next burner since it is so wide. Even switching to other side had some burning and was a issue to clean. Otherwise it is well made and looks to be a life long pan. I was able to get it cleaned in the end as well and was very helpful in making larger dishes as it is my largest sauce pan. Also is a bit heavy so it is good to have the small handle on other end for stability moving. Very good value as well and I had little heat exchange to the vented handle . I would still use a glove to be safe.

Very nice!
I am impressed. I did not have high expectations due to the low cost, but these Cooks Standard Stainless Steel pans are great! They look expensive and have a nice feel. I was considering another brand that costs a lot more, but thought I would give this a try first before going all in on the luxury brands. I have cooked with the large saute pan several times now. Excellent! I bought the stock pot too and it is very nice. The lid to my saute pan has a Cooks Standard black logo stamp on it. That is the only thing that I do not like. It is an odd location and does not look nice. It makes the lid look cheap. The stock potâs lid does not have a logo stamp on it. Other than that, this cooks well and has a professional feel and appearance. It is also easy to clean. I am happy with this purchase.

Honest and unpaid review of a fantastic pan
I rarely review products but this pan is so exceptional that I felt I needed to let people know. Prior to buying it, I had never used stainless steel. Every pan or pot I’ve ever used was non-stick. I could not get a great sear on my chicken or steak so I started trying new pans. I tried ceramic coated, copper, and Blue Diamond to name a few. I wasn’t in love with any of them. I was afraid to try stainless because everyone says it’s impossible to clean and food always sticks. I read the description for this pan and the seller gave very specific yet simple instructions for how to keep food from sticking and how to clean the pan. I took a chance, and I am sure glad I did! I’ve been using it every day for almost a month. I’ve cooked steak, potatoes, eggs, burgers, sausage, grilled cheese, and all kinds of other things in this pan. I’ve never had food stick and it’s never been a problem to clean BUT I followed the seller’s instructions. If you don’t then those issues might become a problem. The instructions are simple. They work. You’ll end up with the best tasting, most evenly cooked food you’ve ever made and an easy-to-clean pan. I will be buying these in every size I can get and I will NEVER own a different kind of pan or pot. This pan is a total game changer. The bottom is heavy so it stays at a consistent temperature. It cooks more evenly than anything I’ve ever used. It sears beautifully. It is extremely well made. It is oven safe to 500°. The seller gives you all the info you need to cook with and clean it. The instructions the seller provides are so simple and easy to follow. Just an amazing pan from a fantastic seller. As a side note, I do not know the seller, am not receiving anything for my review, and I paid the full price for this pan. I know there are a ton of reviewers out there that are paid or get free stuff to review. I am not one of them.

Nice pan
Big and works in oven and stovetop. Bought one for myself a while back, liked it and got one for my daughter and her large family for Christmas. Good price too.

Me gusta lo manejable que es en la cocina, lo uso para preparar platillos con muy poco aceite y el resultado es increÃble, el sabor no tiene igual, ahora compré una olla de la misma marca,,,,

We’ve used non-stick pans for ages, but the issue has always been that the non-stick surfaces wears off relatively quickly and the pan needs to be replaced. We finally made the decision to go stainless steel with this pan.For context – we use a gas stove.Pros:It’s got good heat distribution, and the size to cook a variety of foods. We’ve used it for stir fries, cooking meats, and other foods and its held up well so far, with food cooking evenly. If you follow the instructions provided with the pan, the surface is relatively non-stick (add in fat to a cold pan, heat it up gradually, then cook your food. Also, don’t use too high of a temperature). So far the quality seems good, and it should last us longer than the typical non-stick pan.Cons:With regards to cleaning, again if you follow the instructions provided it’s relatively straightforward, but it can take longer compared to a non-stick pan. Essentially, for food that’s gotten stuck, you need to let it cool, then boil some water (we also add dish soap) in the pan to dislodge the stuck food. It takes about 5-10 minutes of boiling but then it comes right off. That might be an issue for some people but cookware lasts as long as you maintain it. So far the cleaning process has worked but it might be tedious for some people, so something to consider.Overall would recommend if you’re making the jump from non-stick to stainless steel.

The aluminium ply only covers the base, not all the way up as more expensive ones do, so tends to singe a but on the sides when cooking over high heat. Seems to clean off ok though.Like the square side, towards a Saucier
