This nearly is half the cost of the next model up, but at less than $20 it does the job! It’s not as heavy, especially at the base, as some of my other, higher quality and long-lasting pots, but that’s to be expected. I think Cuisinart just wanted to make a good pot at an affordable price point. Mission accomplished.My favorite part of this pot is the brilliantly designed rim… it absolutely DOES NOT DRIP even if you’re pouring liquid from a completely filled-to-the-brim pot. I’ve never had a pot that doesn’t at least occasionally dribble down the side when pouring.My only complaint, and the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars, is the lid. I replaced it with one of my extra glass lids. I don’t use stainless steel lids because I like to see what’s happening inside at a glance.

This is a very nice, high quality pan if you are looking for a smaller size. I plan to order the 1 1/2 qt size too. I have owned others from this manufacturer and they are of high quality.

This is a great âmini potâ! We bought it after a full Kirkland Signature pot set we got turned out to not have a small enough saucepan for our frequent single or small servings. This small pot matched the style of our full set quite well, and is very solid, and a great quality stainless steel. The volume measurement markings on the inside are a handy touch. I would recommend this pot to anyone. In our household of 2, it has become the most frequently used saucepan, along with one that is the next size up. It easily fits 3 or 4 large chicken eggs.

I use this pot for heating milk mostly, and it excels in the role, with good heat distribution, drip-free pouring, easy cleanup and liquid volume markings on the inside surface.The long handle can cause the pot to tip over when empty on a gas stove like mine, where the pot is only supported from four directions – you won’t have a problem when there’s a little weight in the pot, nor on a flat surface like an induction stove. Even a trivet would fix it.
