Love this skillet, but wish there was a lid for it!
I have a set of Cuisinart pans with the see-through lids, and I love them. I’ve used them for over five years now. But I was needing a larger skillet for when all of our family is gathered together. This one is perfect, and huge! I actually don’t have a burner that big on my stovetop, so I kind of move it around, but it saves me making several stages of eggs, etc. I only wish there was a lid for it! That would make it even more wonderful! It’s easy to clean, the same with all my pans. I also got it for a great price, which made it fantastic!

Beautifully designed, heat-free handle, this skillet is just the right size. It is not too difficult to clean if you soak it a few minutes. It is also nicely balanced with excellent heat distribution.

Nice pan, but do not cook straight from the refrigerator
Overall, it is a nice pan. Perfect size for a few eggs or a small omelet.After cooking for years in nonstick frying pans, I have had to learn to cook all over again. My key learnings to date:- Do not cook straight from the refrigerator. Let the food warm up a bit.- Lower the heat down. Food will burn if you cook at the same settings as you do with nonstick cookware.- Preheat the pan until a few drops of water dance around the pan, if the water sizzles and evaporates, the pan is not at the right temperature. Water should bead up and role around the pan once you are at the right temperature.- Add butter or oil to coat the bottom of the pan right before you start cooking.- Let the food tell you it is ready to be flipped- Buy a container of Bar Keepers Friend for stainless steel. You will need it while you are learning to cook on stainless. It makes clean up a dreamâ¦a few swipes and your done.I like this pan so much, I am thinking about buying the whole set.

Used this for years and just got a new one. Fun. It always feels like Quality in my hands. Great & Fast heating on my Induction Hob. Fairly lite for these old arms to handle. Spills and burns clean up fast with ‘Bar Keeper’s Friend’. I also give these as gifts.

bye bye teflon
i made the switch & ditched my teflon pans. i did do my research and watched videos on how to properly use & take care of it. i highly recommend you do the same if you never used stainless steel before.i did have to get slightly use to it since the heat conductivity is different, i barely have to put it on medium heat to get it cooking !it has to be up to temp before putting the oil in order for it to be nonstick. if you donât then itâll leave a residual stain, i learned that the hard way. itâs super easy to check if itâs ready/up to temp, just do the water test !definitely recommend cleaning it the best you can after cooking once it cools down, itâll really help the longevity of your pan. what i did for any stuck on stains and the discoloration of the bottom of the pan is use the baking soda method. it works perfectly ! my pan looks brand new.it is smaller than expected, i guess i didnât really pay attention to the size but it works great for what i need.

Some foods stick like crazy and are difficult to clean off.
I bought this because I had used one at our timeshare and thought it was easy to clean and looked nice. However, I must not have cooked the same types of items as when I returned home. Eggs really stick. If a recipe calls for a nonstick pan be sure to use one.

Really glad that I bought this frying pan, as it is much better than the ceramic non-stick frying pans that I had bought before. The non-stick coating on the ceramic pans kept coming off the more that I used them. In the end the ceramic pans were all scratched up on the bottom. Although I did pay more for this stainless steel frying pan, it was well worth the cost, as I know that this pan will last me for the rest of my life. It is of good quality, so I bought the 8″ frying pan as well. Easy to use with a small amount of margarine and very easy to clean. This 10″ size is great for cooking two uncoated chicken burgers, which I cut up and put on top of a mixed salad. Really glad that I bought it and glad that I chose the Cuisinart brand, as it seems to be a good quality brand without being really expensive.
