Nordic Ware’s line of Natural Commercial Bakeware is designed for commercial use, and exceeds expectations in the home. The durable, natural aluminum construction bakes evenly and browns uniformly, while the light color prevents overbrowning. The oversized edge also makes getting these pans in and out of the oven a cinch. Proudly made in the USA by Nordic Ware. Aluminum is reactive to acidic ingredients such as vinegar and tomato products. These foods may darken, pit or corrode the pan after prolonged use.
Naturals commercial bakeware is made of pure aluminum which will never rust for a lifetime of durability. For sweet or savory baking; from cookies to sheet pan dinners, this is the pan you’ll reach for.
Foods bake and brown evenly due to aluminum’s superior heat conductivity. Reinforced encapsulated steel rim prevents warping and adds strength.
Compatible with parchment paper or silicone baking mats if desired. Easy clean up; hand wash recommended.

Perfect for food prep or fast chilling fruit/berries
These small 1/8th sheet pans get used almost daily – or anytime I’m making a meal that has food prep. In fact I use them so much I have found myself buying another one, and then another one. This latest is my 4th of the same pan. ;-)While most people use small bowls for food prep, these small sheets have replaced them in my kitchen. I tend to put all the pieces that go into a step together in one of these 1/8 sheets. For example, in the 1st 1/8 sheet I have diced onion, diced carrot, diced celery, in a second one I have sliced peppers, in a third I have cubes of meat, etc. They are also great for fast freezing berries and fruit. I place hulled, washed strawberries that I’m not going to eat now on a sheet, with the berries separated from each other. Because of the small pan size, I can easily find a spot (or spots) in my freezer to fit them. And maybe it’s my imagination because I never actually timed it, but they seem to freeze faster on these 1/8 sheets than on the big 1/2 sheet. Once frozen, I put the berries in a ziploc bag to use for smoothies or shakes at another time. Freezing the berries first on the sheets, makes them a lot easier to retrieve when I take them out of the bag in the freezer for later use.And I use them all the time to hold meat or fish wrapped in butcher’s paper – just in case the meat or fish leaks. I’ve also used them for quick marinades of fish filets in milk. Perfect for that task. They are great as a catch-all to prevent leak spillage in the fridge, or counter, or wherever.I haven’t used them for baking. Not yet, anyway. The rolled edge should prevent them from badly warping. Let’s just say they look at least as sturdy as the 1/2 sheets that are my ‘go-to” for baking.Love them. Would recommend.

Very important review between Nordic and Vollrath
After months (close to a year) of searching and trialing different baking sheets, I have found the perfect (or two perfect) ones for your consideration. I am hoping this to be a very informative review and I hope you will like it! I hope this is going to be helpful to you. Learn from my experience (and trial and error) so you buy the correct baking sheet the first timeâsave you time, money, and energy. This review is going to focus on two of my favorite brandâs QUARTER SHEET BAKING SHEETS. The results may or may not apply to HALF SHEETS or any other sizes. Why? Because a manufacturer may make their products differently for different product lines. Just like Ford may make good truck but not their sedans, or Subaru makes good SUVs but not necessarily pickups. Itâs just an analogy! Anyway, Nordic and Vollrath are being compared here. I didnât get the Chicago Metallic brand⦠maybe next time!!To start â I baked side-by-side using both brands and here are my findings:They are both âstandard sizedâ quarter sheets â but one is slightly larger than the other. The Vollrath brand is slightly larger (or perhaps Nordic is slightly smaller??). Your âstandard sizeâ quarter-sheet baking rack will sit perfectly inside the Vollrath sheet flush and flat. On the other hand, the same rack will not sit flush in Nordic pan. In fact, you will have to very carefully balance the rack on the edge of the Nordic quarter-sheet ⦠and if you but it just a little . .. . slush~ the rack will fall into the pan or fall off entirely.See the attached photos. So, is backing rack an important feature for your particular bake job? If yes, then you will have a hard time using the Nordic brandâeither that or you have to buy purposefully smaller sized baking rack than what is âstandard sized.â If not, who cares. I do need a baking rack for many of the things I bakeâa rack that falls off easily is not acceptable to me. But who needs a rack for cookies? Wings? You have to think about this aspect for your own purposes.Manufacturing: the Nordic pan was perfect in attention to details. The photo of the back of the quarter-sheet pan shows you how each manufacturer rolled their heavy duty aluminum. Nordic rolled theirs much more perfectly and more detailed. See photo. On the other hand, Vollrath pan was kind of â¦Meh~ Like as if the manufacturer said âthatâs good enough of a roll.â Does the bad rolling job make the Vollrath pan useless? No. The baking result is not impacted from my test-baking. But thereâs something to be said about perfection.True Heavy Weight?: Both brands claim to be âHeavy Duty.â Check out the photos: Vollrath weighs in at 348 grams while the Nordic weighs in at 460 grams. If you do the math, this means the Nordic quarter sheet is approximately 30% more material! Yes, thereâs 30% more aluminum in the Nordic quarter-sheet than the Vollrath product. Thatâs â30% heavierâ duty.. I suppose you can put it that way. But the baking result with the Vollrath is not impacted (no warping, food bakes out equally on a side-by-side bake test). So is the extra 30% more material necessary? Thin baking sheet has the problem of bending and warping during baking (this is a known problem). If the product does NOT bend of warp⦠348 gm vs. 460 gm ? Hmm. I dunno. But then again .. . Nordic is heavier weight, great, but it doesnât accommodate a âstandard sizedâ baking rack!!! Which is more important?? Now thatâs where you need to decide for yourself. If you bake often foods that require a rack, you absolutely need a smaller rack or use the Vollrath quarter sheet to accommodate standard quarter-sheet racks. The Nordic will not fit those. On the other hand, if your bake often foods that sit directly on the pan and do not need a rack, or only uses the rack sporadically, you might be better off getting the Nordic quarter sheet and enjoy its 30% heavier weight and better machine job / better attention to details. Or get both â one Vollrath for one job, one Nordic for another job.OR, go find a smaller quarter-sheet rack (say, 1/8â smaller each side) to accommodate the Nordic quarter-sheet, then you have the best of both worlds. But that means you have to buy âless than standard sizedâ baking rack by about 1/8â smaller each side. Why canât just âstandard sizedâ things work standardly? Why donât they just work perfectly? That was my frustration with Nordic quarter-sheet this entire time. I love that quarter-sheet but whenever I needed to use a rack, Nordic became useless to me.Thickness: You can see from the photos that the Nordic quarter-sheet is slightly thicker than the Vollrath. This came from being 30% more weight/material. I am not detecting the benefit of this extra thickness. Better heat retention? More anti-warping? More stable? Heavier? Stronger?Other things: Both quarter-sheets are NOT (I repeat, NOT) safe in dishwasher. They both need to be hand washed. They both do NOT come seasoned and they are NOT non-stick. Your best bet is put down a sheet of silicon baking sheet. I personally donât recommend aluminum foil (but thatâs what everyone does). My recommendation against aluminum foil is the excessive intake of aluminum which may be associated with Alzheimerâs disease. (This is not a medical preach, please use your own research). I simply recommend you use a silicon baking mat instead of an aluminum foil bottom to avoid getting even more aluminum in your diet. I do NOT recommend baking directly on either Nordic or Vollrath quarter-sheets: food spot will be permanently baked into the pans, black scorch marks and carbon deposits will permanently cook into the aluminum sheets and there is no easy reversal (if at all). I know, itâs only $15 a quarter-sheet so itâs not too expensive. I happen to like my things to last for years. :-)I hope this has been helpful. Write me comments if you need to ask more questions. I am attaching 8 or 9 photos to help with this review. Thanks!! Happy shopping!!

Excellent for the home baker!
I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect cookie pan for a while, and I think I’ve finally found it. This pan strikes the ideal balance between being lightweight enough to handle easily and sturdy enough to bake at least a dozen cookies at a time. One of the standout features for me has been just how easy it is to clean. A quick wash and it looks as good as new, without any of that annoying scrubbing. The true test of any cookie pan, though, is how well it bakes, and this one passes with flying colors. Every batch of cookies comes out evenly baked, with none of those frustrating burnt edges or undercooked centers. I decided to buy this pan because I was fed up with the smaller ones that just didn’t hold enough cookies, forcing me to spend more time in the kitchen. With this larger pan, I can bake more cookies in one go, significantly cutting down my baking time. For anyone looking to do the same, I can’t recommend this product enough. It’s been a game-changer in my baking routine!

Great sheet pan small problem in the dishwasher.
I’ll start by saying I really like this pan! I use it several times a week, the heat distribution is excellent and it is lightweight but sturdy and easy to clean. My only complaint is that when I wash it and put it in a drying rack. The way it was manufactured allows for water to be retained in the rolled “lip” of the perimeter of the pan which almost always results in excess water stored in some part of the pan after all other dishes are normally dry. This is not a big issue, just give it a couple of shakes, but that is the only reason I dropped a star from the Easy to clean category.

Fits a Breville BOV900 oven
I purchased this as a better fit (larger capacity) than the non stick pan Breville included with this oven. It fits the oven better with a larger capacity. I do wish it had a non stick coating but was the only pan of this type that would fit my Breville oven. Good purchase overall.

I needed a jelly roll pan and ended up buying this set. It’s perfect for pastries and cookies and the jelly roll pan was the perfect size and I love the half size pan for when I want to roast a few veggies without dirtying a huge pan. It evenly cooks whatever I’ve baked in it. Great brand and set

These are great change from my older pans with textured surface that I never could clean good enough. And that were few inch too short on both directions despite of stating “half sheet”.These are big enough to bake 2 8in cake layers and cutting leftovers on a side, so now baking a multi tiered cake takes half the time, finally.I can’t find a silicone mat of proper size for it, except for ridiculous 60bucks or so, I have no clue why, but it has nothing to do with the pan itself. These are very good quality, they don’t bulge or budge, they stay clean metal, they’re light weight but sturdy and overall i see nothing to complain about. I don’t believe the logo is of any trouble for cleaning, definitely not as trouble as when the whole surface is textured… but I haven’t cooked anything really sticky just yet. After few uses they still look like new with no staining or any traces of use or washing. Totally worth it and my old pans go to trash after I tried these!

These are perfect – I no longer need to juggle two pans on separate racks to fit my cooking – these are large enough and fit perfect in my oven and so easy to clean
