Very good quality and very useful size for food storage
The lid is a very tight seal, which is both good and bad. The bad is that it is very difficult to lift off. However, I learned to just run it under hot water for a bit and then the lid comes off easily.

Sturdy container and nice lid
This is a great glass loaf pan. The handles are wide for using with oven mitts and the lid is very sturdy but easy to snap on and off.

The Perfect Bake Pan
I have always used an earthenware bake pan and would have continued doing so forever if I had not made plans to bring a complicated dessert cake to my mother’s house for dinner. The drawback of my current dish is that there’s no lid and I wanted the luxury of being able to stack some items to carry them. I’m also in love with my beautiful dish and didn’t want to risk it chipping or cracking in transit so I decided to look for one that had a lid. I’d been wanting one with a lid for a while anyway but with the rarity in which I need to travel with food I couldn’t justify the purchase. Fortunately, this was a steal at $20 and from a brand that I trust, OXO.I love this and honestly, now I find myself exclusively reaching for this pan. It’s much lighter for me to handle, which means it’s easier for me to wash and I don’t have to ask for help to get things in and out of the oven or to wash it in the sink. Another small step towards independence after suffering a life-changing injury in a car accident that affected my neck and lead to a weakening of my arms and hands (sometimes not having control).I love that if I make a cake or some treat that I don’t have to go through aluminum foil or the like to store it. I just pop on the lid that comes with it and I’m done; very neat. There’s enough clearance that I’ve never had any concern for it smooshing my food down. When it’s half full I can even leave my spatula or other utensil in the pan with the food and seal the lid with ease.I prefer to hand wash things like this but the few times both the pan and the lid have gone through my dishwasher it’s come out just fine.I have not tried transferring it from one temperature extreme to the other, but if I needed to, I wouldn’t be shy about it. The pan, not the lid.I plan to buy more once I relocate and have more storage. I really wish they’d come out with this in a variety of sizes. If they did, I’d get rid of my current glass food storage system and use theirs exclusively.

Great product!
It’s nice having a cover for my pies and etc. It is not difficult to remove the cover as others have stated. The pie plate and cover are very well made. A must have in your kitchen.

I especially like the easy to grip handles.
I ordered this glass loaf pan after reading recommendations from a couple of bread bakers I follow on social media. It has only been used twice, so I cannot comment on durability, but I think it will hold up well. After greasing the pan, whatever I have baked comes out of the pan easily. My only concern is the lid. It is very difficult to get off. After reading several comments about the lid cracking, I can see why it would occur. However, the lid is a minor issue for me.I will likely purchase again soon.

Functional Cover is Great
I like the size and the fact that it has it’s own cover! It’s a good size, unlike some pie plates that are slightly too small or too wide or the sides aren’t quite right. The cover can double up as a vessel too. It’s great to bring on picnics!

Love this sturdy pie plate
This pie plate has become such a find! I make pies and never had lids I would use plastic wrap. What I love about this pie plate is how sturdy it is for such a good price. It was in expensive so it worried me but the quality is top notch. The lid to the pie plate is super high domed so that any crust or toppings do not get crushed. You could even do a Meringue or taller decorations. The plate has a coating and the pie was very easy to remove. I put a pie in the freezer and it held up well for a month in this with no freezer burn. The plate was very easy to clean due to the nonstick coating. There are two steam holes for your pie to air I will be purchasing another one of these soon!

Borosilicate Glass. Tight Fitting Lid. Perfect baking. No Problems.
This was the same size as most of my glass casserole dishes, so the same recipes work fine. I wanted borosilicate glass, which has a reputation for not shattering, unlike some other brands’ cheaper tempered sodium glass. I did have one of those explode in the oven (Pyrex brand), in the past, so I am more cautious. The lid is a tight fit, stays on when you put it on. The handles are big, very nice to use. I like using a glass dish like this one, you can see what the underside is baking like for focaccia or bread rolls or casseroles. The bottom of breads browns perfectly. The lid also fits an older non-brand casserole dish of the same size. I would have bought one with a glass lid but they were too expensive. This feels like it could last a lifetime. I would never take directly from freezer to oven, so I don’t know about that.

It is nice to be able to make a meal or dessert and be able to put a lid on it to take it somewhere. Also says you can take it from freezer to oven without it cracking. Havenât tried it yet but definitely will

This is a perfect loaf pan. If you were making meat loaf, the lid is perfect for storing any leftover. I use it for making homemade bread and it’s the perfect size. I liked it so much, I ordered another one.

Artikel kam defekt an.

Perfect for keeping pies covered. I was using a cake display this but this is much better of course. Plus it frees up my cake dish for other purposes it was meant for. This pie plate is excellent and very versatile for all sorts of things. Love that it can go in refrigerator after pie cools and will keep safely for up to 5 days. Who can keep a homemade pie around for that long anyway.
