once you have it seasoned it is almost non-stick or as non-stick as anything else and it’s nice to be able to use steel wool on something without sweating you’re taking off the non-stick coating so I like this more than I like my expensive non-stick pans. One needs to oil it down lightly after cleaning it and drying it and it stores with a little bit of oily feel to it but that’s how it will last forever. so it is a little more maintenance but that’s the last pan you’ll ever need

Frying pan
I finally used my frying pan. First off, its already pre-seasoned and I fryed chicken in it, a couple of pieces did stick but I lifted them with a plastic spatula and had no issues after that. I then put it under the broiler to melt cheese, quick and easy. I love using one pan from stove to oven. I have a glass top stove and there were no scratches. For the price you can’t go wrong.

Nice and heavy, but late prime delivery
I ordered this skillet and joined prime to get next day delivery. Well, it took w days for it to get here. It was out for delivery but it went back to the center and I didnât get it til the next day. Why did it go back?

Beautiful after reseasoning
In the beginning the interior was rough and the preseasoning is thin, and when you scrub it with oil your paper towel might get black, which are all typical. You need to re-season it if you want it to be nonstick and perform well. Look how beautiful and smooth it is after reseasoning

Cast iron is not yesterday
Pan is heavy and contained care instructions which was appreciated.. My grandmother used a cast iron skillet for many foods she prepared and the lighter weight pans do not compare to the quality of food prepared in cast iron.

GREAT, large cast iron pan
I love cast iron pans as they distribute the heat well from stove burners and don’t have cooking hot spots. The pan was already seasoned when I received it and I have used it for months and have not had to do anything else to it. Food does not seem to stick to the pan and it is very easy to clean. I just wipe it off with a damp paper towel and then dry it with a dry paper towel. I have to store it separately from the other pans because it does have residual cooking oil all the time on it’s inner surfaces. Because of this I usually just leave it on the stove top all the time as it is my favorite cooking pan anyway. The pan seems perfectly level with no warping at all. It is a heavy pan but that is why it works so well.
