A Pan without a Moat that Cooks Great
For this past Christmas, I wanted a new double burner griddle. The non-stick pans I used start to stick after about 18 months and this year was time to buy a new one. I use my pan to cook breakfast for the family. First the bacon, then two omelets at a time with onions. The last two pans I owned had the grease moat around the edge which I know serves a purpose but the moat is just not good for my application because I am not seeking to make an egg donut! I am perfectly able to cook my bacon and onions first followed by pouring off the grease before starting to make eggs. I searched for pans with no or little moats and returned three before getting this one. This one has worked great through my first two months of heavy use. The only sign of wear is a bit of discoloration on the bottom burner side.The bottom of the pan has a trussell like support system which I think I read helps keep the pan from warping. This pan has not warped and I have had pans warp on me so the lattice structure must work. I am not a heat transfer expert, but the Vayepro griddle with this underside support structure does better heat distribution than my past pans. The middle is still a bit warmer than the edge but my food is cooking more evenly.The griddle got a big thumbs up from me because it is the perfect height for my spatula. I sound a bit crazy, but I owned a Dreamfarm Chopula for two years and it can sit perfectly vertical on this pan because the panâs lip is the right height. I could not have planned a better bundle nor did I expect to find the combination would matter so much to me. I do find the size large enough for four burgers two slices of bacon and cut onions which is what I needed. I also find the pan size easier for me to clean in the sink too. Thee pan is exactly the size described on Amazon and well worth the 5 stars.

This griddle exceeded my expectations
I’ve had this Vayepro griddle (with glass lid) in service for over a month. I’ve already used it frequently for cooking pancakes, french toast, eggs (scrambled and fried), stir-fry vegetables, kabobs, etc. I found that most items can be cooked using very little or no vegetable or olive oil. Usually, a light coat of oil applied with a brush is all that I’ve needed. I’ve also found that I can usually cook everything with no more than a “medium” heat setting on my range. Cleaning the griddle is a breeze. No scrubbing is necessary (or recommended). Just a wash cloth and soapy water has worked quite well. The size of the griddle perfectly covers two burners on my smooth-top electric range. The griddle’s raised edge, along with the glass lid does a great job with eliminating splatter and maintaining more consistent heat distribution.In summary, I’ve used other griddles in the past but none of them come close to performing as well as this one. It’s obvious to me that this griddle is very well designed, constructed, and is a great value for the money. While I don’t usually do reviews on Amazon, I think this product deserves one. I highly recommend it.

Truly lightweight, non-stick, cooks great, and easy to clean.
The griddlle sits perfectly across two burners on my gas stove. I have only one very minor complaint, which is that the heat distribution, on the surface area between the burners, is not great. For example, if your are cooking medium to large pancakes, you are limited to cooking one pancake directly above each burner, which limits you to cooking two pancakes at a time. However, the griddle does make excellent pancakes (and other food too) and again the heat distribution is only a minor complaint. The griddle is also truly non-stick and is easy to clean. My last griddle was an electric one, but I hated the loss of counter space with it. So, I am very happy with my Vayepro Stove Top Flat Griddle and I highly recommend it.

True to claims
Iâve used this griddle around 10 times since receiving it and it really performs the way it is advertised. Itâs amazing how easy it is to clean and with the glass cover how fast and easy it is to cook everything. Iâve even started using it more frequently than my propane gas grill. I was pleased to ditch my old griddle which food stuck to after using it a couple of dozen times. This is a great griddle.

I just got this a week ago and have been very happy with it. The heat distributes nicely, and it is easy to clean. It fits in my sink. It is light and does the job. Additionally, customer service sent me a new handle since mine had a slight defect. So, it has been a win-win.

very easy to handle. light and handles do not get hot. Cleans just like advertsied, wipe clean with cloth or immurse in sink and clean. Have used daily since received, mostly breakfast. Nothing has sticked. Depends on burners on how well it didtibutes the heat. I have gas burners and aim my food close to their placements on the grill. Glad I purchased and I do recommend this product.

My Pancake Griddle
I was very excited to find a pancake griddle for my glass top GE Profile Range.I have used it 2 times only for pancakes. It is nice, and non stick, but it does have some little dents in it. ALso, it is not totally flat because it spins when I turn a pancake. I have to hold onto it with one hand when I do turn. Otherwise. It is nice. Sandie
